Well, it would be better becoz this would stiffen up competition mah... So all the toy shops dun dare to sell so expensive as they are afraid of losing customers to the other shops... Not to mention flea market on Sat and Sun Would it be better if there's another toy shop in there? |

QUOTE(Vanquish @ Jan 25 2008, 09:42 PM) i second the Amcorp..the place quite strategic but as neosan said, already got 2 toyshop inside amcorp... loyal customers will always be loyal customers lar... anyway, how bout MV? there's only XL, Toycity and Nikko i think... dont count TRU,Jusco and Metrojaya... though u can find toys in those outlets but at least, ppl got other choice other than XL... |

Thanx bro for the advice Maybe more toyshops in one place might be a good idea , at least they can compare prices QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Jan 25 2008, 09:59 PM) i second the Amcorp.. Dude duke MV is definately a nice place for a toy shop, but it's quite hard to get a place due to high demand ( not to mention the rent the place quite strategic but as neosan said, already got 2 toyshop inside amcorp... loyal customers will always be loyal customers lar... anyway, how bout MV? there's only XL, Toycity and Nikko i think... dont count TRU,Jusco and Metrojaya... though u can find toys in those outlets but at least, ppl got other choice other than XL... Remember a few years ago Graffitt Toys was in Mid Valley no matter how good their business was they had to leave cause they can't cope with the high rent... So i think i have to pass on MV unless i struck lottery Anyway thank you for your opinion , appreciatted it |

Bro Neosan, Amcorp Mall yang paling strategik lah
1) Easily accessible by Federal highway or even LRT 2) Lots of parking spaces, no headache like MV and SS2 area 3) There are already 2 toy shops there, one that opens once in a blue moon, other one goreng their "rare" items to hell, YOU can change that. 4) Toy collectors are bound to visit Amcorp since there are so many toy shops there, there is a market for toys in amcorp. 5) Heck even gatherings are held near amcorp 6) Toywiz was a huge success at Amcorp, you can do it too. 7) Cheaper rent!!! and the best one 8)I CAN CYCLE THERE WOOT |

QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Jan 25 2008, 09:59 PM) i second the Amcorp.. There's no such thing as loyal customers for toy shops la, all the shops are selling the same el-cheapo, bad QC plastic toys, there's no product differentiation whatsoever... For toys, the most important things are price and availability...the place quite strategic but as neosan said, already got 2 toyshop inside amcorp... loyal customers will always be loyal customers lar... QUOTE(iman_210 @ Jan 25 2008, 10:04 PM) there is ample demand here in shah alam with UITM students...i can say the market for upmarket toys here in shah alam are scarce... But can UITM students afford to buy so much TFs or not? QUOTE(neosan2806 @ Jan 25 2008, 10:07 PM) Thanx bro for the advice Yes, it will be like LYP, lots of toy shops at one place, good for consumers, and healthy competition...Maybe more toyshops in one place might be a good idea , at least they can compare prices QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Jan 25 2008, 10:14 PM) 1U's rent is too darn high... |

QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Jan 25 2008, 10:24 PM) Tamiya Underground is still alive despite its located B2 Basement Floor, Area51 though price cam gila but still there... That's StarGek (Tamiya Underground), the owner is a long-time friend of mine... His shop is now the official distributor for Tamiya in M'sia... He's M'sia's Tamiya distributor, that's why his shop can survive...just a suggestion only but OU is like MV, weekends like hell.... This post has been edited by Vanquish: Jan 25 2008, 10:29 PM |
