that's why I said...the standard set by Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro and Utada Hikaru were very high and it's hard for newbies to break through

as for ai otsuka, it's hard for her to break into the pecking order in avex because currently in avex, she is #5 singer in order behind Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, Koda Kumi and BoA

I love 80s and 90s english and malay song... and found it interesting that japanese 80s n 90s was very excellent...


great groups such as WANDS, THE YELLOW MONKEY, TM REVOLUTION, SPEED, KIRORO, SPITZ and mady more did produce so many great and top-hit songs.

but I personally like Nakajima Miyuki, singer of the Ito (thread), Jidai (age, time), Sorafune( later covered by TOKIO) and many more.

"Akairo no sweetpea" (red sweetpea) sung by Matushima Saeko was very nice too..


all those good days does produce songs that can make u happy or rise up ur spirit.

Yep... I agree with you. I thought at first I wouldn't like to listen to it because it was just too common + too commercial songs for dramas. But somehow, the songs keep on repeating in my head
