It's just take 2 days+ non-stop (with few hours to recharge) to get those 50 hours... no need to listen actually.

yep, turn the mp3 on through out the nite and thru my working hours, come back home, battery emptied, re-charge while toying with uploading / downloading mp3 songs & surfing the net , repeat the same process.....

Each session would take 20 hours, just do it for 3 days.

I think (not 100% certain) that the battery life has improved after a few charges.

Now burning my other headsets.

Bro, received the item just now, but got problem with MTP. The MTP keep on refresh/detect, tried the mentioned method but still cant solve it vmad.gif

Now trying to reinstall WMP 11, hope this will solve the problem sad.gif

___________________________________________________________________

Finally settle with it... This is what I did.

1) Plug in the walkman
2) Open the device manager and disable the MTP device
3) Change MTP to USB Mass Storage Device
4) Unplug and plug in the walkman again
5) Enable the USB Mass Storage Device

Wasted me 2+ hours and the walkman is charging now rclxm9.gif

REVIEW for NWZ-S716F
"Compared with the iPod Nano (right), the Sony NWZ-S710F
Walkman series is taller and bulkier, with a screen that measures
0.2 inch smaller. When it comes to audio quality and battery life,
however, Sony leaves Apple in the dust."

You need to set the time and date in Settings, Common Settings, Set Date and Time.

Make sure some of your song got year in ID3 tag.
