noted...

this is what im trying to figure out. psp type B.
most of the tutorial i read/watch from you tube mentioned this,
but none of them mentioned how to get this "type b" thing.

will try it sometime later. tomorow got physics paper! haih!
*

So u already have PSP Type B driver but Windows cant install it?

What did i do:

1) Run game with RemoteJoy in PSP while connecting USB cable.
2) Windows will detect the new hardware (PSP Type B) and ask for the driver.
3) I just browse to the driver folder manually, not letting windows search it automatically.

I thought that what the tutorial said....

Hey guys! I think I'm the newest addition to the Malaysian PSP owner community!
I just got my new PSP slim from Nelson today.
And it was awesome! Already transferred Dead Fantasy HD into my PSP for viewing pleasure!
Anyway I got a question here.
When I asked Nelson whether I can play games more than 5 hours, he said the battery life can last only as long as 3 to 4 hours.
But can we use the theory of the laptop and its battery work here?

My friend said it's easy to solve the problem.
Just take out the battery and insert the power supply into your PSP while your playing your games.
This way you won't charge the battery while playing games and you are provided constant power supply and gaming for as long as you can.
Just wanna ask whether this method is usable or not?

Kindly reply, anyone who knows. Thanks!
*

Welcome!! rclxms.gif

U dont need to take out the battery. Just plug in the charger with the battery inside the PSP and game till u PSP smokes tongue.gif

p/s: Cant wait for Dead Fantasy III

I think he meant that there is no way PSP can play RMVB and DiVX file directly without converting it first?

what is a psploader?

QUOTE(Fab-4 @ Jun 9 2008, 07:43 PM)
U need this to play PSX games on ur psp.
*
Is it popsloader?

Actually u dont need it to play PSX game. U only need it if that game doesnt work or have problem on that current firmware. Each firmware version have different PSX's emulator. So popsloader is use to load other firmware's PSX emulator.

Hi. Im newbie of PSP who is gona get mine soon. May i ask wat is 3.90 M33-3 and its pros n cons?
*

3.90 is a firmware version. M33-3 is a custom firmware version of that firmware. Custom firmware have lots more of what original firmware can do.

U can read more about custom firmware and what it can do here: PSP Custom Firmware

As for the original firmware....take a look here: PSP System softwares

erm, what is NAND, pandora.. ? ...sorry still noob in these things ...

also, i wan to ask about psp seller in lyn, is sce or bernard selling original psp console ? ... i know the memory stick is not, but i need to confirm whether they are selling original console... or not
also, i got to know that original psp console comes with 1 gb of original memory stick. Due to its small capacity, psp seller tend to send fake 4gb memory stick. How do they treat the 1gb original memory stick ? do they deduct the price of the 1 gb memory stick in the price that they are offering ?  or they just take it for themselves ? ... just curious here >.<
pls advise
*

I dont think there are fake PSP available on the market. Are there? I think only original or custom firmware.

Originally, PSP pack doesnt come with 1gb MSPD.

Basic unit package or Base Pack or Core Pack (in NA) only contains the console, a battery, and an AC adapter.

The Value Pack includes everything in the Base Pack as well as a 32 MB Memory Stick Pro Duo, headphones with remote control, a carrying pouch, and a wrist strap.

p/s: some words are copy n paste from wikipedia tongue.gif
