wifi adapter.. according to your budget, i would suggest dlink or levelone as they got damn powerful driver & softwares. oh but they must support b/g signals. create connection in adhoc on your pc with the b or mixed signals & your psp should be able to detect & connect.

for the router there should be alot of decent brands suitable to your budget.. i got my aztech dsl600ew (usb+4 lan port+firewall+router+wireless b/g) at 120.. that was about 1 & half years ago.


oh but pick one that supports b/g signals. that's important because psp can only connect to '802.11b' type signals.

yeah after it's connected to your pc ad hoc, u have to share the LAN connection (primary internet connection) and your psp should be able to surf.


still, psp 1k for me... LOVE the IR port.

yeah i bought another battery + external charger for RM60, then did it myself.. it was done within 10 mins lol

over all difference that i see from psp1, 2 & 3k:

slim psp has slightly more processing power than phat, so can load/switch on faster. but got no IR port.. cannot use the psp as a remote for tv & dvd players.

psp 3k also more power than slim & phat with brighter lcd screen (no IR port)

eh dont forget psp1k also can... and with the IR port u can do OH SO WONDERFUL things... lol.

lol.. if i hear someone complain that the channels keep changing with no reason i'll know you've just been there.. hahaha

it's kind of an old firmware.. can but upgraded from files on the net with no big hassle, i'd say it doesnt matter.

yes u must convert. psp only recognize pmp as a video format.
