Its the same for EX and the original Myth Cloth, the 5 bronze Saints are cheaper eventhought they have been released for so long...

I honestly dont think those are EX Asgard and Poseidon. Bandai will not leak out a full complete EX line like that. Their modus operandi is to tease us with 1 or 2 figure at a time.

they dun leak , they show all during an events or exhibition, all the 12 gold saint under ex was shown long be4 , just 3rd party will leak the release date for it be4 Bandai officially announce

Hi all, I was new into this. Saint seiya was part of my childhood favourite. Bt only lately after come out and work will be able to get in touch with all these thing.

My wife just bought for me the whole series of DVD containing 10 DVD for me to catch up the whole story again.

I would like to start MY collection but need advise on what is available in the market and what are different.

What is ex?
Appendix?
Old cloth?
Different different version?
Normally have to buy 2 set to display the armor and the figure with armor right?
Places normally to get a fair deal ? XL seems not offering the best price most of their toys. Even though they have a lot of stock and range.

And also which version to avoid and pro and cons.

i suggest u can start with the 10th years anniversary god cloth which begin on this september till next year feb , this would be the latest myth cloth normal like after so long ,

myth cloth ex line is a newer line from bandai , i think its taller than the normal myth cloth line , the figure has improve joint to allow it to post nicely . however it tend to be expensive after release so best po it early

well all the local shop supplier is the same , from passion marketing sdn bhd .
so far i get dreamtoys to po the newer 1 since the boss offer me cheaper price than the rest which i check on their online store

i m also new in collecting saint seiya , so i start with myth cloth ex sagittarius , then seiya and the effect set . has gotten phoenix and virgo effect set but haven hunt their ex figure yet ,
po cancer ex while going po the libra ex soon : )

Thanks for the tips and guide zack. Does people normally the the ex for posing then get the old one just to display the armor to lower the cost in case want to display figure and armor together?

i have no idea , still waiting for ppl to share their ex collection here so far none =.=

so far ex only release 3 bronze cloth , seiya , ikki and shun .
shiryu will be release this august , while hyuga hasnt been announce yet

u can get 1 of this under ex , u can equip the battle damage cloth on the figure and display the armor with the normal 1.

however for god saint under ex , u need to get 2 cuz the god saint dun have battle damage cloth , they only make 1 either for the figure or the armor .
leo was re-issue under ex be4 , so u might get it at high price while virgo still can wait for bandai to re-issue to get it at retail price .

the design for it i think , the helmet and the armor . from the anime u can spot it after the battle with gold saint , the gold saint give their blood to repair the bronze cloth it become the final bronze cloth ver. be4 getting athena blood to become god cloth.

Since you have not bought any Cloth before... My suggestion is you start with the EX...
As Bandai just started with EX line, its easier for you to collect this line.. It will not be too hard to hunt down the one that you missed too...
Also, it is a more superior line, slightly taller, better flexibility, more facial expression and more accessories, as compare to the original myth cloth...
People like me who has collected the original myth cloth will be reluctant to start on EX... as I will be like collecting all the Cloths all over again..
So, for you, my suggestion will be EX!!

For the old cloth, there are 3 types of Bronze that were released...

The 1st one that were released were the Revived Bronze - In the story, this cloths were reborn by using the blood of the Golden Saints.

The 2nd one that were released were the Final Bronze - In the story, this cloths were created by using Athena's Blood.

The 3rd one was the original Bronze - The 1st ever Bronze Cloth in the series.

Please note that the Revived Bronze were the 1st ever Product that were released, so the quality was not as good as the rest... it tend to be a bit loose...

Of course, after that, there were the God Cloth for the 5 Bronze Saints...
Bandai released the normal edition and the original colour (gold) edition... and now they are releasing the 10yrs anniversary edition..
