Ya...it is worth to upgrade to sandisk mobile ultra SDHC 8gb. I tested the write speed with bundle adapter around 16Mb/s!!! Even faster than my 8gb Cruzor mini rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Hi 95 guru's

I am new here and i just bought a second hand n95 ,Can you tell me whay am I having this problem with my phone:-

When I take pictures and save them onto my Memmory Card it goes missing after a few days.

I have 3 different memmory cards nokia 1 gb, kingston 4 gb and a digitec HC 4 gb all have garmin installed on them but unfortunately only one of it works on the phone and the others would prompt a security warning and not opend at all.

Can this 95 use 8 gb and which brand to you recommend.

thanks.

welcome. firstly i want to said congrate for getting your nokia n95. do your n95 detect the memory card? if ys it's impossible for the pic gone missing unless your n95 have virus or something wrong with the memory card. of course u can use 8gb memory card with n95. i recommend u to get 8gb sandisk ultra mobile. retail price rm130. if u mind maybe u can tell use which firmware u using. if is not up to date then u might want to update it.

Angelska ,

thank you for the warm wellcome and the answer to your question is yes it can detect the memmory card and the pictures will go missing and turn up again yet not all will turn up. I discovered this when I installed the garmin recently, I wouls assume that is the memmory card is the culprit or the firmaware as for certain its still the older version as I went to hello station/Nokia professional center/Sunway Pyramid to request for a update.

Unfortunately I have been there 3 times and diffrent intervals and yet the so called technichian is never around...very professional...

Kindly advice on how do I get update as I have heard horror stories about firmware update that kills your phone.

Hoping to get myself an 8 gb this weekend so that I may resolve half the problem

thanks and regards

if u do in correct way nothing bad will happen. most of us here update our phone ourself. firstly download the nokia pc suite to backup all your important thing such as contact etc. then download nokia updater ( at nokia website) the software will help u update your firmware. before update make sure your phone is in general profile and the battery is full. let your phone update without opening any programme or unplug the cable.

i felt the latest firmware draining my battery life so fast. the previous firmware was better in handling the battery management.
