Bros edwin & vincent, i think Hazelnut and Undertaker should have a match.
It should be a good fite.
Both are the fierce type of "orrpow" and the fite shld be videoed.....

Yesterday met up with Simone, Ura & Trevally for Fs hunt.
Intended to go NTU but Vincent reported heavy rain there, so went to PA Thomson.
Later Vincent, Seng & Edwin arrived.
At around 5pm it became very dark but luckily did'nt rain. Everyone caught FS.
Vincent caught the biggest one, slightly above M-size. Seng caught the day's best fighter.
Simone caught the most, about 9. We had a few matches there, videos are with edwin.
Ura's Saino almost ate my suppow! But now it has recovered, although lost one leg. I'm going to release him.

Later at aound 7pm, Simone suggested we go to Trevally's for matches. He wanted to test Rain against FireCloud.

Bro Edwin, try converting your avi files to flv with a free flv converter at this site. (avi is full video, flv is flash video).

Just upload your file from camera to pc, convert avi to flv, then upload to youtube. It will cutdown file size by about 80%.

Krauser, Kenz691, Ksiao, Lonewolf, Ken25, Towkay, Ah Kim I am not sure at this time.
The list will be updated once i have the info.
Of course old fs may be released and the new ones caught have not been counted here....
Also those "in-training" i have not counted, yet...
These kings have yet to have a serious Royal Rumble! Hope can have one next weekend!

don't mention it, you are both welcome to the fs!
i just caught them betw. the leaves. if you were there instead of me, you would have caught them too!
anyway it is the keeping & training that counts, and both of you are among the xperts, long-time forum members!
i no longer feel they are mine so please give them new names, and fite them at the upcoming tournament of kings!

Anyway, i caught this type of blue subspecies recently among the CB leaves at Mandai.
The photo is taken from a reference by trevally in this forum. the photographer is one ellen tan of KL, i think.
the video is the one i caught.
he had only 1-arm and i have already released him, as i hoped he would breed more.

i am surprised that this beautiful subspecies and trevally's orange female can be found in SG. they are very rare.
In almost 40 years of catching fs (off & on) this is the first time i have come across them!

Refering to sun evening:
Thanks to Bro Trevally for being the cameraman!
11+ fites, it was hard work! I should know as I've been the cameraman before!
Thanks also to Bro Ura for holding the fighting platform and controlling the fs!
This is hard work too as the fs don't always go straight into combat, but jump all over the place!

So! Last fri, sat & sun all the bros in SG brought out their fs and saw lots of contact sport.
Here's a recap of all the action.
On sun evening my pincer was outclassed by Seng's bullet. But goldy did ok against M-size fs.
Well, after last weekend it seems that Seng's bullet & Peter (aka Buaya)'s alien are the top 2 FS, both L-size.
If there is a fite betweeen them sure must video!!!

pincer losing 1 leg in the fite reminds me of Quad vs Valor & Quad vs Odin 27 Jun 2009.
Quad was one of those fs that attack & bite off the leg of the opponent. Quite rare but effective.
i had one like him once. good way to fite against chopster. block then bite off the leg!
i still think your KL fs fight longer & fiercer than SG.
do you have a special method of training /keeping them or is it in the genes?

Recently caught a ML to L-size FS which i name MobiDik.
here's the video:

MobiDik is slightly closer to the camera so his size may look a bit bigger than real-life....

Anyways Bro Jong, if you do intend to measure, measure it on grid paper. Think most bros here take the length as indicator of how big the FS is but I believe it should be the width of the head as its length can be influenced by a well fed abdomen.

Compare to Hulk (left) & TFM (right). Hulk was 7+mm, TFM was 7mm, both were true L-size.....

Yes, it has been a quiet week on the FS front. i guess everyone has been busy with work and family at the start of the new year.
Simone has just got back from India, Edwin has in-camp training....
Last sun Vincent & Seng sms us about a snake they encountered at PA, we should be careful where we are stepping....
Anyway, i'm only free this sun (tmr) but don't know whether we can all meetup.
From what i read on this forum, Krauser has a packed schedule and Simone has soccer at 5pm...
Maybe next sat/sun all the FS kakis can get together?

As this is the new year 2010, i went back to May 2009 for a little review of the past.
Here's a sample, taken from page 69...
i counted 6 kakis no longer active from that time: yuda, eugene, ben (dreamchaser),vincent, jj (evil porkchop), ksiao. kenz691 also no longer active....
this may be a trip down memory lane for some of the bros, but it was before i joined the forum....
it is quite interesting to re-read the earlier posts....

anyway, good luck and good hunting to all fs bros, active and inactive, past and present as we head into the new year.
