I think chop spiders got behavioural problem or maybe eyesight not good so just chop at anything. So far I haven't seen 1 yet.

ya I also prefer the normal way of FS fight. Chop is like abit "cheat"but is rlly exciting.
btw not eating and running away from other spider sounds like moulting symptoms
for example I see on discovery channel snakes will fast before they moult. They will also hide and avoid others and the outer layer will interfere with their eyesight.
maybe the chop FS trying to eat other FS to replenish energy after moulting, like a tonic.

crap, I accidently break arm of my 2nd best FS .. plus he know how to chop

That spider run then one leg got stuck in web so dislocated. He was better than thickarm but cant defeat longarm. Thickarm fighting style like no tactic one, also easily scared of FS slightly bigger than him. Longarm I dunno, only see him push abit then the other spideer scared of him. I will release onearm so that he can continue the geneline of thickarm type of FS.(he caught at same bush as thickarm, maybe brothers).
Btw u aren't going to the comp?

Added on April 26, 2008, 9:33 pmlongarm the leg like weak, become jelly. Cannot hang upside down from leaf and sometimes the joint like cannot bend. But i tried to fight him with thick arm
1st time: he stand there open arm, thick arm push abit then run
2nd time: longarm suddenly chop at him
3rd time: chop again, but lose balance so longarm run.

Not fighting him until his next moult , hopefully by then cured liao

I spray water on the walls, so maybe too wet.now I only put Afew drops of water on leaf. I think too humid.

Our spider not fierce one...

dunno leh, I caught this spider with another male spider in the same nest... The exoskeleton I threw on the floor. Only a few days with me then it moult. Lousy fighter so I use it as confidence booster.

Ya, I caught the smaller FS then I saw the leaf inside still got another slightly larger FS. I thought is one is female so check both. White face. What u mean by the skin from the other male?

WTF man, I sent the sparring FS( the one that moulted last early week ) to invade the nest of the FS I training and he came out with one arm.

No, inside leaf ma, can't see and I didn't expect this to happen.

That one that bite off arm is another FS, the one in the picture. Longarm can stick and walk liao, but dun want fight. i think must encourage him.
The female fs is caught in same bush with longarm though. in diff container.

Skull has a skull pattern on his head...and Line has one line on his head... hence the names
and i cant seem to diferentiate Destroyer from Thickarm... head pattern same and size almost same... only fighting style diff

Btw the FS who I think is thickarm, his head becoming blacker by the day. Destroyers head just starting to change to black

Chaos has a nice form and size. Got any graph paper so that can gauge the actual size??

My FS container no holes, could that be a problem??
I am feeding my FS mainly with small black ants, the kind that run very fast and sometimes any other insect I can find( flying ant, other jumping spider,small flies) is this ok?

Training: let them spar only... how u let them create the web for them to climb up?? They must fall first right??

Ya, my FS fight short . Mostly until stage 1. During the competition I see all the FS fights also the same , only stage 1 of the fight. Maybe SG spider not fierce??
And ya, Longarm got some weird aura, other spiders scared easily. But he scared of chop. And by weird fighting style u mean?? He just do scary face and push only, no difference

hmm I let Longarm tongbu for awhile and he went crazy. Go into chop mode and injured thickarm/destroyer( I can't differentiate them still!!!)

Both thickarm and destroyer(given to me during comp) got two black dots on the shiny part of head. I think destroyer is the one with more black on the head and is slightly bigger. I will go compare with the old photos. Both FS can chop.destroyer bend in while
