that's good. You're probably right, given the history of MGS. Still, I'm a-gonna save myself to maximize the WOW effect

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ May 12 2008, 07:47 PM) unlike boring ol' hollywood,Kojima doesnt allow all his tricks to be revealed. yeah..you're probably right...i still remember im drooling over MGS3 trailer and when the game released, i was shocked that it was not the same impression i got from the trailer..it was totally different..and thanks goodness, it still great & awesomejust take a look at past MGS games...even til the release,no one knew what was going to happen...even with all the hints and trailers and screenshots,he still shocks and awes gamers so im not worried one bit...this game is too huge to be covered by mere screenies QUOTE(Kernkraft400 @ May 12 2008, 08:17 PM) As a collector, that a good thing..but as a gamer who has a job, i dont think that a good choice. Even now i have a hard time to play PS3 after work, what make you think having both 360 & PS3 is a good thing?...heck, i barely touch my DS nowdaysunless you planning to make the console either a dust collector or paper weight |

Anyone here replayed MGS1? I found that the graphics quality really very bad. Image looks very pixellated.

Image looks very pixellated. im still in awe of it's graphics.yeah, pixelated to the core, but these are 10 years old but graphics aside, the codec sequences are still ace! Master Miller,Mei Ling,Gray Fox,Naomi Hunter....awesome..just awesome! second best moment in the game for me, Liquid Snake revealing himself to be Miller. QUOTE huahahahaa.... Snake, you're the only one..who doesnt know! heh..poor fool the twin snakes codec sequence just isnt the same... QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ May 12 2008, 08:47 PM) im still in awe of it's graphics. Seconded that..the codec in the original MGS1 is still ace compare to the sequels. And it sound just right.yeah, pixelated to the core, but these are 10 years old but graphics aside, the codec sequences are still ace! Master Miller,Mei Ling,Gray Fox,Naomi Hunter....awesome..just awesome! second best moment in the game for me, Liquid Snake revealing himself to be Miller. the twin snakes codec sequence just isnt the same... but when i re-paly MGS1, i found it damn hard....then i remember an interview with Kojima regarding Twin Snakes, he did said the original is tough so he tone down the difficulties on Twin Snakes so gamers wont fed up playing Twin Snakes |

10 out of 10? They should give it 12 or 15 out of 10.

A 10 out of 10 from a first of many many reviews yet to come! You guys read Kojima's explanation of his "PS3 not strong enough for MGS4" comment? It was due to a mistranslation, he wanted to mean it in a humble way, not the way most sources quote it to be.
it's time to get the MGS4 LYN hype machine goin on! HOHOHO! VRRRM BRRRMMM BROTOTOTOT PRENGGG PRENGGGGGGGGGG |

MGS4 Length Is About 29 Hours
![]() QUOTE From GamesRadar: First things first. This is the epic resolution to an epic saga and it comes on a Blu-ray disc. Just what sort of percentage of the playing time do the cut-scenes take up? Paul Fitzpatrick: Hard to say. I didn't time the cut-scenes, but I completed MGS4 in just over 29 hours, and at a guess I'd say it was two thirds playing to one third watching. But that is a guess… GR: How long did you spend finishing MGS4 for the review? What was your play schedule like and how how complete a look at the game do you feel you got? Anything you would have liked to take some extra time over? PF: 29 hours and six minutes was my exact play-through time, and I saw everything I felt I needed to see to really get the measure of the game. I'd love to go back and play through with all the cool weapons and items unlocked of course. There are some beauties. Oh, and the play through didn't take in Metal Gear Online, which is being reviewed separately. Full interview: http://www.gamesradar.com/ps3/metal-gear-s...216153655522074 |
