this is the last episode and MGS game for Kojima. He dont want to direct this game anymore and entrusted this series to younger director after this

jus incase u guys were wondering... the 50gb which thy are currently using. is still insufficient.....

so not 25 gb,, 50gb also not enuff. thy are already looking at compressing the stuff in it. not sure of audio.

so, MGS4 is the first game to use 50g BD...and still not enough space...i guess they need to use the prototype 100g BD

I would take both or just Japan version.
I know soon they will out like MGS4 international blah blah later maybe with Japan version with English dub amd a few extras.

I think it would be far too soon to say this is the last MGS directed by Kojima. MGS3 was supposed to be the "last" one too. Even if Kojima does stop directing MGS, I'm sure he would pick the right men for the next one if it were up to him.

Come on, it doesnt seem wise to boycott the next MGS after this one before we hadn't even heard anything about it just because it won't be directed by him. Fanboys would be eating their hat if the next MGS is directed by someone who's just as good, if not better than kojima.

I reckon, even if kojima were to not be at the helm of the team for the next game, he'd most likely be in the role of advisor, or something

not sure if anything's changed,but the last piece of news i heard on the net,is that this is NOT the last MG title.
there will be more.

maybe spin offs,maybe sequels,maybe prequels-who knows?

as for whether kojima will be there or not,i really wouldnt blame him if he wasnt

"Boycott" seem a harsh word to use and i dont think fanboys will boycott it even if Kojima didnt involved directly.

I think most of them are concerned that if Kojima didnt direct MGS game, it will be Metal Gear Snake Revenge all over again....and no, nobody want to see history repeated again twice. It just like saying "Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford is not a true Indiana Jones movie".

So far the only Metal Gear games that Kojima is not involved directly is Metal Gear Acid which is a good game......for it's target audience. After that Kojima create Portable Ops and BOOM!!, one of the best PSP games you'll ever get in term of art direction, storytelling and multiplayer function.

MGS series will still be a great series given they appointed a right guy to do it but nonetheless, everybody will miss Kojima-style after MGS4

I remember reading somewhere this MGS will be like a transition of the fans interest from snake to raiden. At least that's what I've been led to believe. Snake will die a hero here but with raiden taking over by making him a lot cooler than snake.

There was already some indication of this in the MGS trailer with snake having problems dealing with one of those organic legs Metal Gear while raiden coolly taking on 4-5 of those things like it was a well rehearsed acrobatic ninja dance class routine.

Or kojima could pull a sons of liberty on us again by making someone completely unknown the main player again lulz. I have this irrational 'sneaking' suspicion that old snake isnt really solid snake.



As for future titles? A nice touch would be the start of the metal gear liquid series starring raiden with liquid's genes implanted in him.

I hope he deliver us some new ZoE! ZoE2 was ownage for mecha game!

Japan Vocal snake reminds me of Ghost in The Shell Barton (was his name spell right?), the japan vocal is always good but i am too used to Hayter as Snake vocal and also the cunning Ocelot voice!

No more Metal Gear Solid tat focus on Snake story onli.....we may still get Raiden, or any new character in show!

if u play MG Solid Snake, you can see the cheerful Foxhound logo, which bears several similarities with that dude..

Yes Snake seiyuu is Otsuka Akio,same one with the guy in Ghost in the Shell.
In Japan version of MGS2,both voice of Solid Snake and Solidus were did by Otsuka-san.
It make us even more shock at the part where Solidus talking with Ocelot in one part which you can't see Solidus face.(Thou is real Snake cause same voice lol)

i wonder if solidus will also return? i really liked him in MGS2.
