Part of the cure is changing your mindset. Hope this link helps. Don't get put off by religious look of the link blink.gif ,
http://buddhism.kalachakranet.org/depression.html

I was jobless for 5 months before and hence, tasted depression. I remember shedding tears while I was sitting in my car waiting at a traffic light. Not a good place for anyone's mind to be in.

Stupid rite  rclxub.gif , all of a sudden without logical reason your confidence just plummets, all -ve thoughts rush in to choke you, and feel like the whole worlds burden is suddenly on your shoulders.

After that, I think each of us needs some strong, great and resilient principles embedded in our minds. These indomitable beliefs in our minds will stop us from dropping to a lower state, and instead is a solid weapon to overcome troubles and to beat them, instead of letting it beat us.  nod.gif
