Guys, need abit of help here
Just got my 2nd hand gen2 yesterday and noticed something; maybe normal , maybe problem liao. so need sifu here to help verify 1. When i turn off the enjine, there is a small tick-tick-tick sound coming from the back of the speedmeter. This sound last for a few second then disappear... It is normal? What this sound does ? 2. Also, beside the speedmeter, there is a magnet. What is the purpose of the magnet ? Just to hold paper, or got something more? |

dexter...it all depends on ur rim choice...if u use a deep dish ones with a 'bibir' of cos it will look small...even for 15" u can make it look big by choosing a proper rims...let say advanti like R3 used will make it look big...my 16" last time some ppl oso think its a 17"...
![]() ![]() for me if using a 17" with thick tyre oso no point...buruk jugak...x cukup garang dovienya...the tick2 sound???hmmmm sometimes i heard sometime i dont so i dunno XD... as for the magnet, its an accessory from proton...u could hang ur staff ID there or anything that could stick to a magnet This post has been edited by shazmn: Mar 12 2008, 08:33 AM |

Hello guys.
Just to share some info when i was traveled from.. Kota Damansara to Perlis. Total Fuel pump at Kota Damansara = RM 62 (to get Full tank) KM covered = 420 KM ( topup another RM10@Petronas Lencong Barat, Alor Setar to get to Perlis) Max speed = 160 km/h Average speed = 140km/h Perlis to Kota Damansara Total Fuel = 1 1/2 tanks (forget to set the total KM and total fuel) Max speed = 180 km/h ("berat kaki" on the pedal at most of the time) Average speed = 150km/h So i'm quit OK with my fuel consumption - full tank manage to get at least 420km even i was speeding at most of the time. |

Just look for rims with very large and long spokes. Ok thanks 4 the ACP thing. Powerzone is quite famous right? |

I think proton has already rectify it thru Persona. If u have the $$, u can change the Gen's TCU with the Persona one. Heard that it's very costly.I only hate that auto-geardown when we go down hill... even when can go downhill at 90km, also autogear down... waste my fuel only... Guys, i'm considering a change of the exhaust pipe for my ride... My preference is towards the small or medium types, with quiet sound (my gf will kill me if the exhaust is too noisy!
What are the recommended brands / types and prices, Gen2 bros? |

Anyone here have a e-version of the handbook manual?
I'm not able to tune the radio freq for the stock 2-dim radio (bau-something model) ... The closest I've got is 105.7 (light-and-easy) ... and i'm not able to get hitz, mix or any of the other channels.. |
