QUOTE(eng98 @ Mar 6 2008, 11:47 AM)
it helps a litter but it won't be as comparable with CPS for sure.... my advice.. go for full exhaust change and intake... either open pod or drop in filters... and R3 is having sales now... full exhaust system are around 800 - 900 if i'm not mistaken....
its useful for u if u pay their member fee.... if not... u cannot access to alot of topic...
*
Yeap, any small improvements counts. I'm already using drop in filters and full exhaust system. But I feel that the low end torque is still a lil bit sluggish.

Wow, everyone's here talking about IAFM and CPS already. Hoping that proton pity us and give some sort of special upgrading package to current campro owners who want to upgrade their engine. Huh, wishful thinking. cool2.gif

If I'm not mistaken, I think mostly 17" rims will be using 45 profile tyres in Gen 2.

bro redtuna, mind to share what you've changed? smile.gif It would be useful to help anyone who will be going through the 40k service in near future smile.gif
*
quit expensive .. no wonder many of proton's users will stop using proton service centre once the warranty is over. Go to other workshop will cost lower than proton itselt (but surely this kind of workshop will not be using orig. proton parts)... smile.gif

Anyone already have their major service (eg 20k, 40k).. do share your expenses and details of kind of services/parts changed etc... nod.gif

I once asked at the Proton Mutiara Damansara Service Centre and he said that the labor charge there is RM 45/hr (duration starts once the car reached to the pomen's hand).. and he said that for major service, usually RM90 will be charged only for the labour charge. cool2.gif

Yo bro shazmn, I already bought the large snorkel from u lerr last year. I personally went to proton to get it from u. I even asked u about the R3 exhaust system. U're right though, after a while the 'prrengg' sound comin from R3's mid box lelame buat mcm tak dengar je rolleyes.gif . Tak rugi wooo beli large snorkel tu. Heh..heh, kasi promote sket.

ConquerorX, I'm still surveying my options. That's why if anyone here has done any mods to their cam pulleys and camshafts, I would appreciate their feedbacks. nod.gif
