theoretically more plugins you use, the more things the web server has to do before showing you the page BUT this depends on what the plugin does.
on optimal condition, it shouldn't be something so noticeable.

say you have 200 visitors a day. going from 2 plugins to 10 plugins could actually increase the total resources use per page loaded.
however it's not likely that the increase would be one that screws up the server unless something's wrong with the plugin.

Of coz using more plugin will give more load to the server. BUT, it depend on what type of plugin that you're using. If the plugin runs whenever a user view user site, there will be extra load to the server. So far, I havent encounter any plugin that give the server extreme load, unless the plugin is not properly written. Thanks you need to set permission in ur theme files. keyword: CHMOD. You can do this using your FTP client. (Most client will support this feature) But this depend on whether your host allow you to change the permission or not. This post has been edited by HMMaster: Mar 31 2008, 11:32 PM

Hi to all ladies and gentlemen... I've just signed up a WP blog, thought of making it a photo blog. My intention is to create a post with a cover picture, then when you click on the image, you'll be linked to a picture gallery. BUT I have no idea how to create a gallery. Sorry to say that but I'm seriously a noob here... Hence I nid you guys to enlighten me. Thanks!
