Pikachu.. I'm really sorry for venting my frustrations here.. Except the first 30 minutes warmup, and the following few rounds with your squad, the rest of the night didn't quite feel like a gathering to me. I didn't even get to meet you! lol.. I did what I could lar, on my part at least - checking with Ashley, sharing server commands - even walking out and introducing myself to Charlie group while they were at the counter waiting for their PCs.. oh well.. *sigh

I think it's important to highlight that if you submit your name to one of these team matchups, you have a responsibility to show up and play your assigned role (message goes out to fellow Bravo members too). If you only wanted to come and play public games / appear anytime you like - you shouldn't be submitting your name at all.

Oh well, at least I manage to accumulate 70+ headshots for my MP44.. just need another 40+ more to get red tiger! (and move on to the next assault rifle.. hmm)

I'm starting to get that impression too. I once tried making a proper matchup, and sent one of our members to ask if Kitty's group wanted to join for a HC team based game. Because there was just 5 of us in the server, I temporarily set it to FFA on shipment so we could have some fun while waiting. Kitty popped in - made a snide remark about the format.. went "No Thanks" and left before I could even offer to switch game types. sighh Friendly bunch indeed.

They are good players I guess, but as in my earlier list, they belong in the type #2 category. lol..

I was there, some may know me as kucing miang. almost all ESP players, including me, do not have a copy of COD4. we train together in blitzone dj. and the disappointing part of this thing is, where was king_kong? heh.

Heh. I'm a psychology student. training doesnt mean running around for 7.5 hrs in pubs, two hrs a week in 5v5 TDM with team 1 and team 2 sudah cukup. basics all got already, just left the strategies and crap like that.

1) It's our internal Tbun matter. Leave it out of the forum.

2) I told Seng to book the following:
Group Alpha (PC19-23)
Group Bravo (PC24-28)
Group Charlie (PC35-39)
Group Delta (PC40-44)

which are a total of 20 coms. If you can't count, go figure.

3) LoL, I don't have to explain anything to you here. Don't think you'll get the point of it all.

4) LCLY? was that aimed at me? HMm.. Anyway, I don't know NyuuChan but I did have an encounter with him a few months back before I knew the 5 of them were a gang. The game were unbalanced and NyuuChan started kicking players on the side with more players. One of those players was my cousin's gf and when I said wtf was he doing, he said "I will keep kicking as long as it is unbalanced, if you don't like it, go play a 3 on 3 by yourself". I'm cool with him now as I know Despair, Kitty and Lt. Hawkins in person and they are nice friendly people but I know they like to pawn players together.. I've yet to meet Preston, NyuuChan and Jebus. No grudges.

I don't own a CoD4 original game of my own too. Even if I had it, my com wouldn't be able to support it like Tbun's PCs and Malaysia's internet would kill me if I played on X-Fire. Shuuu-pid Taiwan Earthquake...

Just came back from another round at Tbun..

Talk about expensive.. Sat + Sun alone cost me RM25 already not including drinks and mamak.

It is actually quite possible to spend a few hundred on cybercafes in a month!

i am originally from blitzone...i started my cod with sanctions and the rest of the Espian...i remember when i 1st time playing i got f***up with them knife many times..hahaha..b4 i started cod i was playing cs..vic and boring hope they still remember me..its been like almost a year 1 stop going ftz and now got hooked up at blitzone...lol

First things first.

I don't remember Any BRAVO member asking me for a match-up. I actually went to pikachu to ask who my opponents were and he said there were arriving at 10:30. This was at 11.

I don't know who the bravo members are, i don't know who actually came for the event. I was just pissed that I didn't know who in the world was actually in the game.

And if i did reply, "I'm waiting for my friends." It probably means, "I'm waiting to play my next match." Which i didn't know was bravo and nobody mentioned to me who and how it was being played.

I got so stressed about waiting that I went to ask despair for a game but he said he had only 4 man. So after that i called the yam cha session.

This is what happened on my side. I was told that only 2 bravo showed up. I saw tam inside the crazy shipement map with 16 players but that was it. No one else. And it's no fault of the FTZ bunch. No one told them anything which is why i ran around looking to play with people. the rest of ESP were playing with PIKACHU but me and bomberman and the ftz bunch went off to eat because no one else wanted to play.

You can ask any of the rest about me b****ing DURING the event.

I'm also pissed because people from FTZ came down to play and they only got 1 game. When the plan was for 2 at the very least.

Okay Sanction, your reply clarifies things a little now..

1. You were sitting directly behind me actually, Ashley provided me your group's PC numbers. I saw you running around the Shipment map, and I did ask you to join our server, but you must have misheard. It should have been quite obvious that there WERE opponents ready to play (after all, Pikachu did play against us immediately before joining ESP's game). Pikachu was the one that asked me to create the server anyway so I was surprised he told you that your opponents were only arriving at 1030?

2. Immediately after leaving Pikachu's game (1st teamup), I created a game named Bravo Company. Passworded DMC as per the usual. I thought this should have been clear that it was meant for the next match. This game was open for about 15 minutes. tam_ironcup left to join u guys on the Shipment game after nobody joined the matchup game.

3. there were 3 Bravo members in attendance. with Chris and tam, there were 5. There was actually even 1 more dude but I forgot his nick.

4. Nobody called us for the yum char despite knowing where we were sitting.

So yeah, we're both pissed at a matter of miscommunication + poor coordination/planning.

Anyway, no intention to flame or anything.. I think its important to voice our discontent, otherwise we wont know what went wrong, and how to prevent it from happening again.

Oh, icic, we finished really fast and after that we switched PC's as the original 5 we had been given had issues. The reason I joined the shipment map was because there was only 1 server open and i also realised the reason i could not see any of the servers earlier was because default filter was set to not view games with passwords.

You can asked Ashley's darling about that as I asked how come i couldn't see anybody elses game.

About the 10:30 thing, the funny thing was it was already 11 when i asked, (can confirm with [ESP].Death about this) as I remember him saying "It's 11 already lar." when we were behind Pikachu and i was telling him, "You're in charge of the gathering."

Bah, so since i didn't see any other game I joined shipment. I was dying to play with someone else seriously, It was pretty torturous listening to my teammates discuss about the pkachu/ESP match and I didn't have any war stories to bring back to the table.

My apologies about the yam cha thing, I had left earlier with the FTZ bunch and only later the rest showed up, I saw pikachu about an hour into the yam char session when i came down and i was on the phone, but they were heading home. Meh. I'll make sure to get everyone for the yam-chat session next time.

I don't care, next time before the matches everyone lines up in a row and tells me who they are. Then at least I know whats going on. And in Blitz you can book the PC's but you have to let us know and turn up on time. =p

Technical-wise ashley there were several issues.

Mouse - The mouse is so not suitable for gaming. At any one time the mouse cannot handle being pulled too fast. The screen wobbles and you won't turn in that direction.

Connection - for some strange reason, i kept getting the connection icon popping out all over my screen.

Keyboard - I don't know about everyone else but the keyboard in T-bun is special. I can play and 10 other cafe's with no issue but the T-bun keyboard is so compressed you start wondering if they're trying to save space.

Headphones - I believe that some of the HP's are plugged into the MIKE port instead of the stereo port. Which is why we can only hear left side. Do check that out. Pink is MIKE!!

Hey guys... its the 1st gathering, of cos theres flaw and mis-communication... but we shd juz discuss and hopefully organise a better gathering in the future. Well im not gonna rant wat-went-wrong again... guess we all knoe by now ... but i gotta say thx to Mr. Pikachu for the effort organizing such an event, and Ashley & his gf (yeah u shd see them running around) making sure everything was perfect

pretty fun night in all. nice spectating the matches. but unfortunately my bravo guys made the stupid mistake of putting their names and not showing up. I'm a sticker for being on time and i guess they did not gauge the seriousness of this event properly. For the next round, I'll vet and screen any bravo company member to see if they're really game or just shooting the shite. my personal apologies.

I shall hack and block their game key and profile so that they have to start back with level 1. Call it boot camp. MUUAHHAHA

...nolar... i dunno how to do that. i fine them one teh tarik each ok? fair nuff??
