I don't know whats going on with Tbun recently, i didn't go last sat but my friends went for awhile but ended up going back to blitzone because the crowd was apparently damn boring.

I prefer hardcore because in normal mode it's sooooooooooo.....arcade style, like playing CS. I just pick up 3 frags or noob tube with sonic boom and simply throw also can get frags. Or just run around knifing people.

And ashley, people only look at people who are good players. So if you play in the tourney and win, lots of people will watch you play. So get used to it.

Hardcore mode is fun for me because you don't have idiots running around because they get pwned if they do. And it's harder to get airstrike or helly unless said noobs ARE running around. Plus plus i like the idea that my pistols aren't USELESS against a guy with juggernaut and a knife.

We've more or less started training for the tournament and assuming it's 5 on 5. Hope everyone attends =) Really looking forward to it.

Comeon King Kong, i gave up DoW because of Waba you can blame him. Here's a game which will be better than CS. You can do it, tell them it's the FIRST in Malaysia and we're all DYING to play.

Heya guys, Happy CNY.

I don't know about GO4T but i've sat down with susu and most of the bunch i would say within the last 1 week. The problem is that by the time we get down to actually training, it is OFTEN 11 o clock or midnight which means training until 4 am (ugh...work hurts in the morning....).

We need to get to tbun with 9 people to test and train and the problem is right now, 3 people from ESP have been 'removed' or 'quit' due to real life issues or an inability to play the game properly. We expect in some way or the other to field as least 2 full teams and the only one we've not seen in full action in you (ashley.) we hope to be able to meet up soon. Could you pm me your number so i could call u and find out how things are going to be done. and i can start poking susu to push him into a meeting.

Well, some of us have to be nocturnal because of random real life stuff,(i know i have work, not sure about the rest.)

so when we get back from whatever, we have dinner and by the time everyone is organised... its late.

I'll poke susu and see what we can come up with. he's currently asleep. Damn these unemplyed students!!! =p

Any idea's on whether we'll be allowed to use our own eq? Tbuns keyboards are less than....desirable.

Everyone is actually welcome to join if there is space, i think everyone should start making random 5 vs 5 games with only the basic classes to promote fairness and balance.

@ Ashley: I agree with you there but the reason i'm saying use the basic classes for this first tournament is to actually make senior players come down to the same level as new players. It makes everyone on equal ground.

Better than 10 noob tubes flying all over or 5 man UAV/dead silent ninja team with machine guns or silenced weaponry.

The reason why there has been no ESP at Tbun.....well.... I dunno lar. Like all the good players never come so stuck playing with privates can fall asleeep... Serious lor. The last time i came i paid rm4.50 to sleep. Played 1 round then Zzzzzzz.

@ shifty: And yes, we've heard of BYOB and we're looking to play. Heard you guys are nasty on the field =)

I don't know who else has tested the game in "tournament" format, but we've tried it with 5 on 5 hardcore TDM and it works perfectly. Even the larger maps(strike, overgrown, district) seem pretty small when 5 people are maneuvering to flank each other and every death gives points to the enemy.

And I agree with Ashley, the tounament should be on a sat, but I'd rather leave those things to King Kong, i've seen his events and they were run spectacularly. (gratz gratz you're number 1#) And i also know that New Era takes forever to approve events due to lack of liquid mooola. So yes King Kong needs to wait for other people to approve before he can work his magic.

Comon king kong, i'd be happy if u just came in and waved anways. At least we know you're still reading our posts.

We do have to do the cdkey thing. I started in Tbun and i memorised the cdkey from tbun which I type in everytime i log in.

And Shifty. That was me shouting GoGoGo =).

We're all more or less headphony and we played sabotage last night. So brutal. So very brutal.

ESP members there were lickwhilst, susu, death, Sanction, goat and Bomberman as well as phyo. Phyo has self declared himself ex-ESP but still carries the tag.

Our alternative tag is EMO.

very simple, they'll give you a envelope with a card on it good for 30 days after your birthday. Then whenever you go they'll mark it on the card how long you played.

BOOBS!! Not TUBES or TOOBS. BOOBS!!

heh, i got tubed 8 times in a row last night. Then I started tubing. Then someone said;

"Omg, Sanction you used a noob tube."


Then everyone stopped tubing.

Want to play tubes with me no issue. I make sure everyone cry. And yes i agree, no skill involved. Just take juggernaut to give you enough time to line up your shot and extreme conditioning to run away and confirm 2 easy kills. If they are clumped together even better. 6 or more easy kills.

Concerning which map? I don't have a specific map but for any mode these are good.

Backlot.
Crash.
Strike.
Vacant<-----this is a very very tactical map. It stops the tube from happening roughly 50% of the time if you can dodge.

Meh, I hate people who kick because of tubing. Just because they can't handle the "toobs" they kick. I learn how to doge toobs already. The art is to get close and hope the shell doesn't detonate. Then you knife the bas Tards.
