Proposals for Group Activities, TT Session & Whatnots:
Proposed 2nd Gathering for LYN TF Collectors: Proposal 1: Event: Workshop for collectors, be it TFs, Macross, Gundams, Marvel and so on... Date: 13th January 2008 (Sunday) Registration Dateline: 7th January 2008, 2359 hours Time: 11:00am - 3:00pm or 1:00pm - 5:00pm (as suggested by freefall) Venue: The Outpost, Cineleisure Admission: RM50 per pax (Min 10 pax, Max 30 pax) Program Proposed By: boyarque Program Itinerary: Still Under Discussion (There'll be a video screening, most probably Ironman Animated ) *All are encouraged to bring their 'MOST PRIZED' possession(s) [Can trade with fellow traders if you want  ]Gonna try get coolerthings and UNDICI for photography workshop. Ryukaze for repainting ur tfs n model kits Confirmed Attendees: 1. boyarque 2. freefall + partner 3. m4xspeed + wife 4. OK... just a quick report from Sunway Pyramid. JJ zilch. Parkson zilch. Went up to the new wing at Asian Avenue, they had a toy shop there called Dream Toyz. They had MP05 at RM 328.00, an Encore OP, a TFTM Ironhide and Thundercracker and OP Leader class.
Didn't bother asking for TFTM merchandise prices. On the way back, gave James a call and he says MP05 should be arriving next week. Funny, thought he said that the last time. Oh well, keeping my fingers crossed. If not, maybe go Endah Parade and chk out Glory Toys. Happy New Year All!  |

everyone of us want to get tf at RP but some may resort to pay a lil extra so that they can complete their collection... i mean by paying extra no that much, maybe rm80-100 for a deluxe bb08... but for me, rm100 for a deluxe bb08 not worth it coz u have to go all the way to toyshop, beat the traffic and everything just to get em, by all means ur own personal coast already bout RM120 including fuel and parking fee... unless its at RM49.90, ok la... for me, i rather get from ebay us becoz if i pay let say rm100, it will be at my doorstep after let say 1 week.. i skipped scouting, traffic jams and off course, expensive parking fee... but thats just me lar... |

If scalpers make 20 - 30% can still tahan. But when they are earning 50 - 100%, thats too much and unethical. Seen how some will buy a whole big box (maybe containing 6 sets) only to keep them for a month or two and return them to the shops and ask them to display and help sell it at a handsome profit. In a way, spoil the reputation of the shop also.

Im expecting that TFA line will be more exhaustive than TFTM line bcoz they will have more characters coming, even the base models are almost having as much characters as TFTM redi, im not sure if they will play will redecos and repaints this time.... we'll see......

im not worry if TFA will be as exhaustive in terms of redecos..... coz im not gonna invest in it anyway, TFA no thks.... im happy enuf with my tftms, i buy tftms just for the sake to at least bcome a tf collector which i always wished to, but im not so rich to buy everything and anything, so tftm is my boundary and thats it..... now that i heard the strike affects tftm2.... so even better i got more time to recharge before they launch a huge range of new tftm2 toys..... Bay say he will include ALOT of robots this time......

Nothing wrong with international cable i guess. However I faced this problem during 31th Dec and 1th Jan 2008. TMNet is doing some major overhaul? I know their Streamyx billing system went nuts.

i suggested the time to change because :
1) My friend who is coming 4 the workshop also, will be coming back from Perak , 8 am in the morning, on that day.......so he would be appreciate it if the time can be change so he possibly can attend all the programmes.... 2) Its Sunday lor.....hard and hate to wake up early |

Finally got my NW OP from Toy Workers, but it's not Takara version, James decided to cancel the Takara shipment due to constant delays, so he got the Hasbro version instead...
And James told me that Takara NW OP got a lot of QC problems, a lot of his customers' Takara NW OP's eyes cannot light up... He showed me a collector's Takara NW OP, the eyes really did not light up... The Hasbro version on the other hand had no such problem, and cheaper also, selling at RM185... Just made a visit to area51 in 1Utama. Lots of leader OP's there. Takara units. A few NW OP's too. Normal takara leader OP for sale at rm225 there. Saw a voyager ironhide being sold for rm300
A few blackouts at rm1XX (forgot the amount ), Rm200 for voyager OP and RM200 for deluxe barricade. Oh and theres a MISB alternator meister for sale at rm350 there. Took a peek at the glass case in front and spotted a BT smokescreen. RM700 maybe just to scare the customers. Oh and theres a Masterpiece Skywarp for sale at RM450. Also spotted 2 units of MP05 megatron there at RM385 if im not mistaken. Might come out with a heart attack if i step in there again |

The high price might be due to thier high rent as well..
I use to work opposite Kevin..emm not exactly opposite but the opposite rows of shop..Worked in "Toys in Motion" aka Branryan. Sometimes got to mark up the price in order to pay rent..=( |

this is the hasbro all spark version..both eyes can light up.     this is takara version..it seems that inside onli hav 1 LED, so the light lights up in the middle.      |
