errm.... i went to a shop recently and i saw two new rackets from yonex.

if not mistaken it's named Yonex NC Tuff .... i saw two models are available TUff 8 and Tuff 9 (Rm210 and RM 230 respectively)

they use Nano technology too ... but i dun see any muscle frame on it ..
quite light too (even balance)

have u guys encounter this racket b4? ...any experience on it?
** cant afford nanospeed or armortec...to expensive loh ...even nanospeed 6000 is like 600-700 ...cheapest armotec also like ~400 ...haiihh
*
wow.. Yonex new range?? NC Tuff?? rclxub.gif

I am using the Yonex Ti-1 Racquet ( http://www.bbeshop.com/yonex/yonex2006/racket_ti1.htm )

Strung with BG66 @ 26lbs , however i have difficulties in smash and return the shuttle to the back court no matter how hard i hit, should i change the string and tension ?
*
Friend.. base on what u have descript... would like to know how long u have been playing badminton.. I guess not too long..

first of all u have to get the timing right.. second... position right too..

third.. if u are new to badminton.. 26lbs are too much.. try 21-23lbs..

Do you mean how to differentiate between fake Yonex and original Yonex?

A very2 helpful guide: http://www.badmintonrepublic.com/fake/index.html

I personally check the grip. Yonex factory grip are pretty nice IMHO, although maybe not all their rackets use the same grip.
Black color? You mean this:

That's the 807 la  tongue.gif
We talking about Carlton Powerflo rackets.  nod.gif
I found Fanthom Ace here, but dunno whether it would be much help to you or not:

http://www.bbeshop.com/racket_wilson.htm
http://www.bbeshop.com/en/racket_wilson.htm

Check both pages as I found out some of the rackets are not listed in the English version of the site and vice versa.

yOuNg$tEr: Which combination you going to get? If you have time, bring yourself to Bangi, man. It might be a little bit far but the distance worth it, man! You might found a number of superb deal there.  icon_idea.gif

Yup, that's my current baby. Cannot la pinjam, I don't have other racket  tongue.gif

It's RM 200+ at Etakoh? I got it for RM 139 includes APACS overgrip, string (choice of Carlton/Protech .66/Protech Absolute Gold .66) and a bag at Hock Eng Bangi just 3 weeks ago.

The shop owner did show me Carlton price list and PF807 are listed at RM 279.90 but I don't really buy into it since I couldn't find the racket elsewhere locally. blink.gif

Wah.. SO cheap ah?? tolong beli satu.. drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

If 21SP <RM200, it's considered a bargain smile.gif
*
21SP <RM200 is a very very very very good bargain..

QUOTE(Ryo` @ Sep 2 2007, 10:25 PM)
Hi, thanks for the input, may I know where can I get it with less than RM200?
I heard 21 Special a good racquet too
*
21 Special is commen nothing special.. I think is the cheapest "Made in Japan" u can find

Is Cab21SP same with Cab21 Special, no?
If I'm not mistaken, I saw Cab21SP at Studio R One Utama for RM 299. That means at actual badminton shop it would be around 250-270...If you can find it under RM 200 is a very very very very good deal. I would buy it and then sell it.  laugh.gif

I checked BBEShop.com that Cab30-Muscle have been discontinued. I believe it's around RM 300+. At BC review secton, a reviewer said that it have the same feel like MP99 except that MP99 is stiffer and have iso frame.
*
Cab21SP heavier and more solid...

Cab21 special much cheaper..

AJ quoted RM280 full package, while Hock Eng quoted RM245 with bag and grip but no string
Is the price acceptable?
Hey bro, would you mind to survey the price for Carbonex 21sp for me since you going there tongue.gif
*
U play single or double oh?? still use 21SP meh.??? hmm.gif hmm.gif

Do u know that normally Carbonex Racq are usually 1cm shorter than new racquet??

compare the 2 price.. Seem HE price better.. coz string only cost u RM20 mah..

considering the time, travel cost involve.. worth isn't it?

Carbonex in fact good and not that over price like other series...

increase 1cm.. make it isomatric head.. u have to pay double the price for Yonex...

I love my Carbonex 8 8600.. in the old day..

Guys.. im looking for a new racquet, coz my 6 years old carlton just being broken into half cry.gif

Im a offensive type player, i smash a lot, sometimes i do play slow pace game doing drop shots and net play.
Im looking for an all rounder racquet, since im not so familiar with racquet (my previous racquet is a gift frm my uncle) I was hoping u guys could guide me to get a suitable racquet for me.
My budget is RM350max.

I heard from an Expert (bro Chinkw of LYN) saying that Yonex Ti-10 are very good for offensive player.. esp those who like to smash a lot.. which is around your budget...

Try Cab21sp, trust me, the power it generates comparable with Ti10 or MP99 flex.gif
I just bought mine from Pertama Complex
But the downside of this racquet is smaller sweet spot compare to those with iso head frame, you might not use to it smile.gif
Another alternative is Cab 20sp, lighter with less stiff shaft compare to Cab21sp
*
and also 1cm shorter leh.. the racquet.. laugh.gif laugh.gif

hmm.. wait. just wondering, the Carbonex is quite an old badge right? laugh.gif no doubt it's a good raquet.. hmm.gif

but somehow or rather, i felt my previous MP was lacking "feel".. should be due to the "shok-less" system.. doh.gif
*
there is 2 racquet in my "thinking to buy" list...

1.Yonex NC Tuff9
2.Carlton PowerFlo 807....

both are more to offensive....

try shopping mall for Carlton PowerFlo.. might get much cheaper than shop outside...
