The only drawback is it's camera... That is the only flaw... shakehead.gif

yeah...the only drawback is the camera..it's not a flaw...it's a drawback.. a downside to it's abilities..

but for very nice sounds..this is the phone for you..
*
Haha, to me that is a flaw already... tongue.gif Some of my friends had very bad review on my N81.. they told me that it is not durable and the slider is very loose. The LCD will not last very long. I am doubting their reviews

Added on January 4, 2009, 1:58 amdoes anyone know how to downgrade the firmware?

take note, flaw means something else.. the 2mp camera is a downside or easily a weakness of this phone..

your friends had an n81 and had a bad time with it? well, i've used a few sliders before and by far n81 is a much better slider.. used it 8 months already and it's still going strong..sturdy slider

what do your friends mean by lcd will not last long? as far as i know lcd lasts quite a long time...
*
Hmmm, he told me slide phone is not durable. But that is true. Candy bar is way more durable. But it is ok. I would switch to other model by that time.

i also plan to sell it off...but the thing is, the value dropped a lot since i bought, and i have no money to top up for new one..and on top of those, my camera spoilt..
everytime i try to start it, it gives me this error message: "Camera: Function not supported"..i wanted to send to warranty, but CSL gonna take me another 3 week..plus, this is not the first time i send for the camera thingy, last time i sent, they didnt fixed at all, just downgrade my FW for me cos i requested it..the phone is not even opened(dusts on top of the screen inside the housing all still there at similar places)
*
My flash is not working. so do you think i should sent my phone back to the ap company to have my phone fixed? I have to bear the risk of getting fake parts.. so how?

features wise, the 5800 is a step up. but if n79, n85 or n95 8gb, the features is way more impressive

Thanks for you comment. I think i better claim the warranty although i bear the risk of getting fake part. biggrin.gif

because if u dont claim wasted already...the flash stil can't be used. so in my opinion, better claim if still got warranty

It a good phone but not suitable for those who like to take photo, the camera is not as good as k800i and so on...

Added on January 7, 2009, 4:50 pmOh yea, i almost forget to ask somethin. I plan to upgrade to 8gb. So my question is can N81 support Sandisk micro SD? My second question is, regardless of the brand. can i use the new micro sd straight away without do anything?

Glad to have a current non- nokia micro sd user. Thanks for replying. So u straigt away insert the card into the slot and it can function as aspected already? Do u format the card? How bout the engage game that i hv installed in the card. Wil the certieicate lost if i copy the game to the new card? The final question is how is the performance of the phone with 8gb card intacted?
