if i'm not mistaken the transition effect doesn't effect the performance at all. that is what i read before.

it could be something else that effects your performance.

n81 doesn't have gps...maybe A GPS...that one uses 3g or gprs connection...i dont know which...

my firmware is the latest APAC firmware. Can it support 8GB microSD card? or maybe only the new EURO firmware can support 8gb microSD

N82 and N81 has the same screen size. So it's safe to say that with normal use the battery life is about the same.

If you take into account usage the other functions of the n82 like gps, 3mp cam, gyro you could say the n81 has better battery life as it has none of that.

When playing music, i guess the the n81 has better battery life because it has, if i'm not mistaken 3 dedicated sound chip thus reducing batt usage.

a bit newer than EURO v 20.0.056 firmware.

from what i've read here in this forum, the v 20.0.057 is a better firmware. so your phone is alright.

i even change my product code so that i can upgrade to v 20.0.057.
