My whole phone is now cracking d. The slide there for sum reason the whole thing got bent so badly causing the slide not 2 be smooth but when look at the side can see inside abit.

nahhhh that's your opinion.. im sticking with mine. i didnt use a navi before so i donno and dont care much.. cause well, not a lot of people use navi nokia..

alpha_company, in my opinion, the most well build slider i think belongs to n85, tested it before..it feels like what n95 and n95 8GB have, but i think nokia fixed the slider issue face by u N95 users..

maybe i'll have to try an n85 later.. i've tried n80i, 5300, 5200, n81, n95, n95 8gb, 5610, 6500 slide... maybe im lucky to have a good slider on the n81..

ya i am guessing u have...cos last time i have to admit my phone drop and drop and drop..that one obviously is the foundation of my slider issue

Hi guys....I cant update my firmware with the program provided by nokia it takes like more than 1 hour to open the dam program and after waiting for a long period an error will pop out....anyone can help me.

pls state your problem more specific, what error msg u get, what windows u using?

u mean when u updating software?? PC side or phone side??
if it's PC side, try changing another IP range and update again, sometimes it's about ur own internet speed suddenly DC when updating..try a few times, if still cannot, write love letter to nokia..

Wanna ask la how many of u still holding on 2 this phone???

hey, last time when i decided to have a look for a new phone to replace my SE K500i ( which is quite old dy ) , i was considering about Nokia N81 , N82 and also N95. When i was in the shop, the salesman told me that N81 had disccontinued so he didnt suggest me to get it as it was old stock if i do want to have it...however, he suggested me Nokia N82. SO, im here to get the answer whether if N81 really discontinued?? or were him lying on me??

btw, i ended up buyin n82 black as i love it very much

Hey, last time really du!!! i went to the phone shop which sell ori phone ( but not nokia 1 ) ...i asked them why was the price sheet of Nokia N81 blanked...then they told me N81 is discontinued so they recommended me N82, N79 and N78 instead...

try re-install ur Nokia PC Suite bro....or try get the latest vers one...
