Hey bro,
Your phone's 8GB memory has been taken up to 4-5GB.. OMYG! that is alot of files that you've store. Frankly, I like N81's Screen. The screen can say is the best compare to others Nseries. The Navi wheel's reminds me Apple's Ipods. Flash memory up to 8GB, Stereo Speaker, Good Sliding mechanism.
see, the bold sentence is a mistake...ask everyone here, how's the slider....i myself experienced problems with the slider, it's loose..
u can slightly push the slider left to right for 1mm like that, and will slowly become more if u slide hard, press button very hard....

also, if u are going to a 8GB phone, make sure it's not HDD phone....previous HDD phones like N91 8GB user complained about HDD being corrupted all the time they bought after a few months. i am not sure the current HDD is improved a not, but my suggestion is better don take the risk...

If anyone wants 8gb memory, i suggest DON'T BUY the N81 8GB version.

Buy the normal N81 2GB and buy another 8GB microSD card. Better transfer rates because u can use a card reader, and u can swap memory cards at ease.

btw, the slider mechanism is quite good compared to several other nokia sliders that i have tested before... but it's definitely better than n95.

did you drop your n81 bbxiong?

i'm not sure, but my slider is really sturdy and i NEVER drop it even once...

i've used a nokia 5610 Xpress Music phone and never drop it too, but the slider is not that sturdy and a little wobbly when you press on it when the slide is opened.

just one main thing about this phone that i don't like... the camera. do you have any other phone to use as camera?

i think you shouldn't have changed your product code and just wait for the upcoming APAC firmware. It could be better and stable. Personally, it's just not worth changing the phone's product codes to euro.

and another thing, what do you mean by hack into the phone....i don't know...

It's not about the slide gap.. there's always going to be a slide gap but what BB is referring to is the slide moving SIDEWAYS and i dont see that it relates to the slide gap and yes, the slide is better than most if not all current nokia phones.

OK... i don't mean to exaggerate, but my slider doesn't move to the left or right at all...it's sturdy. Moving a little to the left or right when the slide is open is quite normal for most sliders.

btw, what is HACKING the phone means??
