Need help here...I having 24months in arrear for.my diploma payment because I jz.started working. I went to ptptn office, they say I must pay 30% of my late payment then only I can start to pay my monthly installment. Is it true?

And if I ask for rescheduling, will it affect my ability to take loan in the future ?
*
Your CCRIS is already dented with a figure of 24 if I'm not mistaken.

Dented meaning ?
*
Meaning it'll definitely affect your credit application apart from DSR consideration by the financial institutions.

Cimb cashback has max limit 30? So not much of a use then?

I was thinking to apply a cimb or maybank cc if it's useful gor my ptptpn full repayment (13k)
*
Maximum rebate is RM 50
But for online/e-commerce category is RM 30 only!

Even with Maybank is also RM 50 which is equivalent to RM 1000.

Where got know the cap is so low rm30 la haha. Then i no need to use cc for ptptn la

You need some strategy.
Try to maximize first before heading to PTPTN office for full settlement.
As paying using FPX, the statement is update almost real time (provided no error during the transaction).

I did talk to them regarding it, they said the so called postponed letter is to prevent me from getting blacklisted and every late payment will still continue recording in ccris 6 months after finished diploma even with the letter ..
*
The conclusion seems like they won.
You have no choice that you have to adhere to it.
But recently, a law graduate student won a case against PTPTN for the exemption of repayment upon obtaining first class degree holder.
Do you want to bring the case to the court?

No. Im.nt first class degree holder and dont have any knowledge in all these.. but nw I wanna know, issit true what the ptptn officer told me that I have to pay 30% of my total late payment only can start paying my monthly installment ?
*
I'm just citing a case study as an example.
If you feel that you have mistreated or misled by PTPTN, you can always opt for legal direction.

I wonder how bad is mine, though I have been paying consistently now. Gotta see how long more to recover the dent. tongue.gif
I will print mine when I go back to Malaysia next month.
At least I will have an indication though I know it's very difficult for all my credit stuff to be approved now. sweat.gif laugh.gif

I know mine is already screwed!

I'm wondering why there're two descriptions for repayment:

1128 KTP ML PTPTN
1148 KTP UJRAH ML PTPTN

I highlighted before. It's my first time using portal to pay, so not sure how it is shown. Anyway, they just split principal and interest payment.
*
And the amount cannot be altered after you keyed in the large sum that you wanted to pay for.

It depends on the installment amount. I have a feeling 1128 amount can be changed. Let me try, I will pay soon.
*
Yes. It is auto adjusted by itself after you keyed in the big amount that you want to pay at the Penyata Baki page.
Once you arrived at the second page after clicking on the Bayar button, you can't change anything on the 1128 and 1148.

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Mar 9 2017, 06:06 PM)
the ptptn portal is abit weird. If I dont accept the exact amount shown there, let say I want to pay more then the stated amount. When I click "Bayar" I get signature error like this :

{"response":"Signature tidak sah untuk uuid: 23903714-dec3-4168-8995-282fd01ac225","result":"failure"}

I cant even pay 1 cent more. Not allowed.
But I can adjust to pay less laugh.gif
*
Who said so?
My amount is PINJAMAN 1 is very big. If cannot change the amount, I'll die!
I can change it to my monthly repayment amount as per contract.

i say la obviously. i just did the test myself and perform the payment. i not spread kopitiam talk....
*
Sorry, I misread. You can pay less but not pay more.
To pay, repeat the step.
There's no 53 cents charges if you pay using CC.

i not sure what u mean pay another round of ujrah...

i am still under conventional loan. the payment process seems like still buggy. after the payment done and i get the receipt. i click the back button and get an apache page error. doh.gif

As long as the payment is captured in Penyata Baki Terperinci, should be fine! I also experienced the same bug too!
Otherwise, you'll be headache to contact PTPTN officer/staff to do manual retracing and updating.

just got the email that there's tunggakan. eeeeehhhhhhh i been paying 400 myr diligently for the past few years.

how come I get this insurance thing above the tunggakan?
*
How much is your tunggakan?
Your case sounds similar to mine.
The insurance is there to insure the loan if anything happened to you especially when you RIP before you could completely settle the loan.

around a few thousand. I think I missed a few payments here and there a year back as I was consolidating my savings. but i always been paying 400 myr. interest is 153 per month. hmmm... I'll check with ptptn office tomorrow.

add.

some of my payments aren't keyed in. what the fuck. I use bank in
*
I told that I got outstanding because of the backdated ujrah amount they charged from the date I need to repay (6 months after completion of study) till I successfully converted into ujrah. Their stupid system cannot automatically adjusted even though I have been diligently pay through salary deduction for about 5 years. This amount will still retain as outstanding till I cleared till on top of the monthly repayment and it dented my CCRIS record.

Recently via email, I noticed the amount has been starting to par down. Not sure how but seems like some of my repayment went to offset that side.

If you pay online using other channels apart from PTPTN portal, the insurance/takaful fee will not be adjusted from your payment.

Only at PTPTN portal, you can choose to pay either or both Insurans and the Pinjaman

Seems like PTPTN is desperate for money!
I have been receiving the email reminder on the outstanding amount for third time since 2017.
