1. Look or any n95 8gig themes. they shud be similar with n82's.

Have u installed garmin? if u did, it explains Q2 and 3. Garmin somehow screws up the copy paste function, thus, everytime u press the "#" to capitalize a letter, the phone somehow gets screwed up. To solve this, Tab out and back in (press and hold the menu key to tab out and do the same to tab back).

4. Got pictures that came with the phone meh? as far as i could remember, mine dont have anything inside. IF u reset ur phone, it shud be resetting the intenal memory. Garmin is installed in the extenal one rite? So it wun be affected.

5. The latest Fring is buggy. Its in my opinion la. I also hav problems logging in into fring with other wireless network other than my own one at home. The previous version didnt have this problem. Unfortunately, i still cant find any Fring versions that are lower. I plan to switchback to the older version.

emm, check the LCD for dead pixels or hot pixels.
make sure the IMEI number on the box matches the on IN your phone.
play a simple sound clip to make sure the speakers are working fine.
Use the camera make sure its working fine.
Check inside the box to make sure everything tht ure supposed to get is in that box.
Glance thru the phone see got any dents or scratches anot.

which ever set u buy, whether ori or ap, u have to get new firmware haha. The diff between ori n ap is, ori u can go to nokia service center and ask them to do it for u for FREE.

the apps, can sendiri dl from internet la.. all of them easy to find

Try switching u APN control on. that way your phone will restrict any 3g/wap usage.

menu > tools > settings > connection > APN control
thenenter ur pin2 to deactivate it

For those who says n82's camera not good enuf.. Jus think of it this way.. the point of a cameraphone is not to take extremely good pictures. It is to take those once-in-a-lifetime moments when you did not bring a dedicated camera with you. I dont tink everyone brings a dedicated camera with them 24-7 do they? So the cameraphone acts as a replacement when dedicated cameras are no present.

IF you want a good camera.. go get a dslr lar.. why wanna compare with a cameraphone?

Then comes to: WHY n82?
From my opinion, I have been using crappy cameraphones since the era when it was just introduced and when it comes to those once-in-a-lifetime moments.. taking pics with a crappy camera quality cameraphone really sux When u see the photos over the computer, the "feel" of the moment not there anymore There was my e398.. I tell you.. it is OMG quality then there was n80. Pics taken with the n80 was so blur at times, I jus deleted it straight So far, for me, n82 is doing a GREAT job in catching those moments. Giving a good-enuf quality for me to remember those moments

IMO, nows not a good time to get any symbian OS phones with the problem with simbian sign and all. Its like there are so many apps out there where u can use but not allowed to. Pity...

cert is a file tht symbiansigned produces to let u sign ur applications for your symbian phone. If you don't have it, u cant use 3rd party softwares. As of today, Symbiansigned is closed. Means new symbian users or those tht didnt keep their certs cant use 3rd party software

Btw, i was just joking.. wudnt give up my n82 for anything well for now atleast

u cant check. it needs to be created thru symbiansigned. it is a file tht has the .ce extension

1st, Check whether your company's access point is connected to the internet or not. Try using a laptop to access tht access point and see whether can connect to the internet.
2nd, go to menu > tools > settings > connection > access points and delete all the wifi connections that has been defined in the past. Then try connecting again.

if all fails --> reboot your phone
if even that fail --> tak payah guna wifi there larrr

i tot nokia maps is free? just tht when u want voice navigation and some other extra services tht makes u have to pay for it

Call maxis/celcom/digi and tell them your situation and they will give u a PUK. make sure you give them the correct details of yourself or they wun give u the PUK lol. goodluck!
