Night, u should come to Penang expecially my area. U would probably be amazed that how many hardtail hardcore riders acctually are only using Epicon only.
Not many people uses FOX here. Not sure why, probably because of the hefty price tag.
So far people just buy the EPICON and they say they dont have any problems at all but then when I as them about FOX they always say they had some troubles with it for the starting few months. LOL...weird.

Added on March 15, 2008, 6:59 amAnyone knows what are the functions of the tiny hole found in Shimano rims? Hehe...besides letting water flow out.

I would say average for a real mountain bike. Light will be around 10-11 kg and heavy will be 14-15kg. Depends on what setup u intend to use it for. If for XC then it's quite heavy but if for AM then it's just nice.

My hardtail is 13.5 kg! And I have no troubles with it. Stable.

who's Lim?

Well lighter bikes tend to accelerate easier and easier to carry and quicker cornering, but heavier bikes have more momentum and are more stable. Depends on riding ler...but basically lighter is better as long as it's stiff and strong. That's my opinion.
But all in all, the rider is what that really matters. smile.gif

So far I'm good with Conti, but a bit soft.
Well, there's so much of choices nowadays.
WTB seems quite nice for AM.
