Just don't buy those 'branded' LCD you always see in newspaper and carrefour ad.

Sony, Sharp, Samsung are generally very good (and cheap, these days)

for TV, i only go for sony or samsung.

Sony LED tv is by far the slimmest I've seen yet. Probably 30% slimmer compared to Samsung LED tv. But then again, the price is like 50% more xpensive.

For LCD/LED, my preferred choice would be Samsung, Sony and LG in that order. For plasma, its got to be Pioneer then Panasonic.

If money is not an issue, its got to be FullHD projector.

Super noob question:

If I were to get a PS3, what would I need to hook it up to a computer monitor?

Theres a SHARP 19" HDTV which goes for around RM1.1k.
While it is the cheapest, its not worth it.

You're better off getting a Full HD monitor.
The same still stays today.
720p for games, 1080p for Blu-Ray movies.

By contrast, if you're just going to play games then just head for a HD Ready TV.

i wonder why the anti-aliasing is almost NONE when i switch to 576p...

it's like the graphic is much rougher compared to 720p, which causes the display to squeeze in my 4:6 monitor...

567p scale perfectly in my monitor, but visually downgraded... any idea how to fix this?

Most people use 720p, I guess.

However, a 1080p screen might be better these days as the price is going down. Future PS3 games might utilize 1080p more

'Toshiba regza 42RV500E' im using this for my ps3 gaming now ..my 1 is 42"..overall its awesome graphic.recommended worth to buy , bout 5 months ago i bought at RM3200  havent try any bluray movies for my ps3 yet..

haha..trust me la..my 1 is 1080p full HD..it goes well on graphic..if u have more budget RM4000-5000 then of cos go to sony lo..

but trust me .. its very pretty graphic too on my toshiba 42", i played killzone 2 , street fighter, gt5p, re5 etc..i can said the graphic is awesome !!!

5 months...anyway its worth to buy ..
but i heard ppl said sharp is nice too..

but don look for viewsonic or LG or other cheap brand ,
even though they have 1080p full HD but cheaper 1 thousand something,
their quality is totally different..even i use my toshiba 42" compare to sony 42" full HD,
sony will b expensive bout RM1000++.ya really, the graphic n sound are better than mine,
for the comparison of graphic, if u go closer to the screen..sony graphic is smoother,less dead pixel..
but i found the difference is juz a bit only....

unless u are the one who like to sit closer to the 42" screen n gaming...
