either if u sit closer to the screen u wont notice that is any big pixel on the screen.( im talking that if ur eyes nearly touch to the screen then only u can see ) haha..the colour is fine , with this model u can adjust ur colour with CMYK mode..u can simply adjust the colour until u happy , if u talking bout sharpness in gaming, yes it will do..i've no idea in blur ray disc..never watch movie for my ps3 b4 so i donno , but ive seen a demo disc from the technician before i purchase , yes it is sharp !!

p.s by the way once u guys got a plasma 1080p fullHD TV , then the 2nd problem will come, should i buy an expensive HDMI cable like 'monster cable or wat' or juz buy a normal HDMI cable like panasonic, pioneer..etc..
yes go to the normal HDMI cable thats enough , i ;ve bought a monster HDMI gaming cable it cost me almost RM300 n end up found nothing difference between the normal 1 RM100++..so i suggest to buy a normal 1(juz my opinion,monster fans don kill me)

Most shop TVs are set up like crap (even when they reach your house). Contrast, brightness and backlight they always put very high

i am planning to buy a ps3. currently my monitor does support dvi and d-sub (vga) only no hdmi. suggest me the BEST method to connect ps3 and my monitor.

Yes you can. Mine is using a Samsung LCD monitor too.

Here's a quickie. Next month I'll be changing my Altec Lansing speakers. I was thinking of using Optical cable from my PS3 system to the speakers. Both my Console, LCD monitor and the speaker has optical output. Would I able to hook the things up by using optical? I'm trying to ditch the Yellow, White, Red cable (AV cable).



How about the quality of the sound? Better than using the typical AV cable?

Whats the best LCD TV for PS3? My budget is below RM2k. Im planning to get one after my SPM.

Guys, probably going to be getting a new LCD specifically for the PS3.

Gonna be at the top floor and i'll be sitting quite close to the screen. 2 meters maybe.

Leaning towards a 32 inch-er.

What brand and model would you guys recommend? Pricing? What's the most value for money deal.

Also, will a 32 inch show much difference if it supports 1080p?

Or will 720p suffice?

However, being a student, I don't have enough money to go for LCD / Plasma TV where from my observation, the price for this kind of TVs starting from rm1.5k. So, what should I buy to fulfill my wish? Any good monitor around rm400-rm700 that I should buy with HD capabilities?

Hmm, as for the money, below RM2000 should be fine. I'd rather get a Samsung over an LG though. Just for the fact that my uncle has had a good experience with it.
