@joey70i,
The >RM9k MacBook Pro is quite high end. Do u need such high end specs?
If ur looking to run your programs on a Windows platform, Y bother with OSX? U should ask urself what u really need.

Ask urself what ur gonna be using the notebook for. RM9k for a notebook is not a small investment.

@rx330,
We are comparing specs and functionality, not looks! And what's wrong with the MBP?! *getting defensive* @joey70i, If ur getting it for the purpose of travelling, u should ask urself if u need a 15" screen. The difference in weight may not seem to be much but in the long term, it's quite a hassle to be lugging something this heavy out. It's worst for the 17" - not advisable. |

@goldfries,
Me been using the MBP for almost 11 months oredi *knock ur head* And like u said, if ur usage doesn't warrant an MBP then no point wasting the $ @lilredridinghood, There's a 0.6kg difference if I'm not mistaken. Between 1.8-1.9kg for the MB and 2.5kg for MBP - it does make a difference actually! *grins* Ah well.. nothing's perfect right? |

@allvin,
My bad for not checking proper - i compared the MBP to a Fujitsu S series @ <1.8kg for the smaller screen. Didn't compare it with the MB - thanks for the clarification. @xaw5126, Good !! At least I know my MBP has a long enough life span. Will probably be time to change notebooks by then |
