I'm a Beta tester, so i'll try out anythg dat some N00Bs not dare to try out.
and Mostly those who don't know how to do remove it or want to show off that they are really using a Beta version\trying to convince others to download it (may lead to a fake/problematic torrent)\let others to envy it, they will say this action is a N00B's action.
Removing the Watermark is for reducing the annoying text in some point or makes ur wallpaper looks better juz like any XP or Vista Tweaking Software integrated features.
Even if the text shows the latest Beta version, how can u sure it isnt modded version of older version Pre-Beta or Release candidates? Btw, I'll perform clean install of Public Release version after it announced. But will not remove any watermark bcos i've tested the removal tool.

P.S. For the one who said this is a N00B thgs, do you show your desktop version on your desktop (wallpaper) in the final release XP or Vista?

btw,Do you all think dat is it the unofficial beta is a modded version, bcos of the Documents, Music, Picture and User icons like 2D icons, unlike Beta and pre-beta in neowins and Microsoft Events previews , with 3D icons like Vistas.

IIRC, you only get the RFM only if you disable the Software Licensing service, which basically what most retak for Windows7 do these days.

The problem is not with Microsoft. The problem is with the software makers/coders who don't update their code to support latest versions of OS.

Vista don't have Superbar although got 3rd-party Superbar.

Just take it this way, whatever specs Vista works on, Windows 7 can.

FYI, it's Windows 7. Yes, you must use different type of display.

We can proof that were really using it (BETA) through "winer".

Hmmmm??? If you mean the document icon on the superbar, that's icon only in build 6801 or newer, beginning on the leaked 6936 and forward, it's no longer that (vista) icon...
