This is a complex question tat is really hard to answer! It really all depends on ur skill and patient, so u might as well start by googling it online for more info on modding the Unicorn leg! This thread also got some one moded their unicorn!

err... sorry to interrupt the unicorn mania here. but i need to know what's the selling price for MG Rick Dias at our toys shop. Wanna pair it with my current Gelgoog to form a fatty-axx double team. hehehe...

MY first MG gundam and the first model kit I have build in five years. Never was a fan of Gundam, I was more into Patlabor, Eva, and cars but when the G Gundam was released like five years ago, I was really amazed by the level or articulation (this got to be the first gundam that can actually do a side kick and stay balance while doing so).



However, it was such a super hot item back then that it was always out of stock everywhere and I couldn't find any. So after a while I just stop looking for on and also at the same time stop building models ( I was into guitars and all money went to guitars, effects, amps, and pickups).

Fast forward to present and since working never have the time for band anymore and also found MG G Gundam for RM85 only. What a steal!!! (It was like RM120 five years ago). Bought it and spent the whole night building it (until 6am in the morning).

Managed to broke two parts (thank god (pun intended) managed to fix it and none will the be wiser), accidently shaved off a bit too much on one and stickers placement not very good.

Also don't have sand paper around so couldn't smoothen those plastic bits.

However, discovered the joys of gundam marker and I was surprised that simple lining really adds to the beauty of the kit.

Here are some pics of the model. Sloppy lining and 'dirt' effect. I am a casual modeller, never painted any (well I did try painting an AE86 and it was disastrous). Please be gentle











Gotta love the poseability, in only bandai use this fighting frame in more of their kit.

ps-Now looking for a new challenge, was thinking of MG Wing Zero Custom. But worried about since, heard it's smaller than usual MG, how much smaller when compared to G Gundam?

Just a little smaller...like 1-2 cm... it wont be hard enough... i've build around 11 model for the past 3 month...

quite nice model there.... talking about articulation... this guy got the best articulation so far...

Very nicely done... don't be too humble ler... that's a clean job you've got there.

WZC... not as teeny weeny as the F91, but the panel lines around the face might be a bit tricky. Hehe... my friend left out his WZC's panel lines because scared of messing it up.

nice...but go competition no good...many competition got ppl do like c.e mix with uc de...somemore like master work cannot get merit...you all should see oldman fantastic freedom TTT..super detail with the booster..sad no get merit..pity...

try mod a gundam by using steel/aluminium panels bended to shape. use back the gundam's original frame + concentrated cement/putty to withstand the weight. den sand down the metal to make them curve. use shaped glass or clear glassy plastic for some parts.

can enter BAKUC with tis idea?

Ok. Unicorn...95% completion. If everything goes well, I should be able to wrap things up by tuesday. Today manage to detail up some parts with paint. The weapons and the internal thruster parts. Boy are they hard to mask. Running low on topcoat, so I guess i'll have to get to TM tomorrow. Anyways, regarding my earlier question regarding mark softer, If i just apply it to the regular red warning stickers, will there be any effect? Any whatsoever?
