now the pre market for the AIG and citi is down,so will it affect the price of them when they open??
*
Yup, it does. The share will open with the last price that matched during pre-market trade.

Do analysis on which stock that you want to buy.
Check its FA and TA.
And wait for retracement then long on dips. cool2.gif

DJ support @ 9435
S&P support @ 1015

We were close to 3 digits sell off.. but bounced back a bit now.
But.. still -80 at this moment.

We need 1%-2%  pullback will be healthy today.
*
Because of PMI data out today reach 50. Better than estimation.
Hope so. Healthy bear trend biggrin.gif

Sold!  ERX 36 @ 500 .. $1.10 profits.
I'll wait for another pull back before trying again. tongue.gif

Oh by the way, I've also unloaded 3000 shares of C @ 4.95 this morning.
I'll wait for a pullback below 4.50 to play again. biggrin.gif

The MM doesn't want C to go above $5. Anywhere near it.. we're seeing massive selling.
*
wah, nice profits.
Im just waiting for big pullback. Doesn't enter any trades right now. smile.gif

Momentum is slowing down already. Looks like profit taking already taking place.

Look at C.. big boys are selling.  nod.gif

I'm waiting for closing..to see if this market can hold.
*
Market too overbought.
It will retrace anytime soon and ride with the bear trend.
This month won't have high volume as there are no big impact news.
All waiting for 3rd quarter results to be announce on mid of October.

But, one must also make sure they don't have faint of heart.  brows.gif

Tonight, going to cash out DRN since it has gone up so much.
Might go short again if the worm turns south.  biggrin.gif

Can you describe the feeling of roller coaster more in details?

The price range it fluctuates?
*
Well, depend on which stocks that you selected.
For example: AIG from USD12 (early Aug) to peak USD55 (end of Aug).
Citi from USD1 (March 2008) to USD 5 in 6 months time. and there are many stocks has gone up at least 500%.
You can check it out on finance.yahoo.
Somemore if you trade options, one day can up 200%. And the most important was VOLUME.
NYSE is the biggest stock exchange in the world. So you can expect volatility is very high.

Everyone here would agreed with me that trading in US was exciting biggrin.gif

hi zaman,

i've just opened an account with mbtrading. It says all the signed paperwork must be sent no later than 30 sept. Am i supposed to sign the form and mail it back to them??not sure how it works..
*
Usually you can scan the form with your signatures and then mail it back to them for processing.
This applied to optionsxpress. Not sure does it apply to mbtrading as well.

Don't sweat too much... its temporary drop is because US government is selling back the share they bought as part of the stimulus...

It means to US gov, Citigroup's capital is healthy enough for them to withdraw some of its holdings. Its a good thing as it also means C is on its way out of the bailout program...

However not sure how much it'll continue to drop as its currently trading at a premium over Treasury's conversion price of 3.25. If you have bullet I'd suggest get ready to load more of Citigroup's share...
*
True. Risk taking are much better compared to 1 year ago.
I would invest in C when it drop below USD4. Any price below USD4 will be nice for long term investment, lets say 3-5 years smile.gif
I maybe will consider to buy long calendar spread maybe January 2010 5.00 Call cool2.gif
