vcore?? tinggi nyer.. why use 9??

don know why i set 1.275vcore got got problem when load to window~

so i set to 1.3 it is ok~

later when have time i try again~ coz the ram i still no time to tweak yet all direct choose loosen 1st

don know why 667@10 mutiple stuck at 260 busspeed only~

BTW the Trfc for each ram, Mal, refresh mode N trd how to choose when start OC?

coz if my fsb is 314(3.14ghz)1.275 vcore.already not stable

ive tried to boot 3.4 at 1.350vcore.pass sper pi 1m..only once..

the latency is more giving it to clock more higher....
same as ram latency... u may see why ddr3 latency so high with higher mhz...
it is due to 65nm technologies...
more smaller capacitor less heat...

my statement b4 correct what..i mean the diff performance between the brisbane and windsor is caused by the latency.have to clock 0.1ghz higher for brisbane.
with smaller caps, does that means more caps can be stuffed inside the die?? means the size smaller, but the total caps used increased??

For Quad Core, it take almost double power consumption as Dual Core.

I think the same goes to Phenom Not sure though. Hehe

Doing rock stable at 3.1Ghz. Multipler 15.5 set x 200 standard fsb. 
Thinking to push more now.

timing, vdimm is definitely insane. its has so many options until i dunno what set.

Add me please, an update to previous result. I think this is the highest OC I can achieve with this proc without any errors.

I wonder why quite a number of new records do not have SuperPi 32M or Orthos >1 hour? A few of them just post 1M SuperPi. Even if windows able to boot with such high speed, wont it be unwise to run at such unstable processor calculation?

Using F3, I notice vcore require is much lower to achieve higher speed. But since I am new in OC here, how some people can achieve such high OC (with dry ice and etc) but aint using it for daily use? Is it just for benchmark? For me, I cant go higher than 3.22Ghz with this proc without error. Even I pumped muvh vcore but it is still the same. It can boot up at 3.3ghz but got error at Orthosing.

I think the main purpose of OC would be maximize our value of the proc esp for daily usage, right? Hope to hear opinion from you.

cpu core voltage =1.550V
Ram voltage = 1.90v
HT speed = 3x
cpu cool and quiet control = disabled

DRAM setting is 667MHZ
cas latency =5 clocks
TRCD=5 clocks
Trp =5 clocks
Tras=15 clocks
Trc = 19 clocks
Trfc0 for dimm1= 127.5 ns
Trfc1 for dimm2=127.5 ns
Trfc2 for dimm3=127.5 ns
Trfc3 for dimm4=127.5 ns
command rate = 1T

After that i got one question , i use this bios setting previously can overclock to 256MHz X11 (2816MHZ ) , but now cannot reach again if my ram plug dual channel , but can boot if i use 1 ram only !

yep, must be diff ram slot color. i feel my cpu still bottleneck my card.

mostly ocer will try their best to achieve best score in benchmark. however, for daily usage, with such high vcore, vdimm etc2, pumped, not good for ur hardware healths...

Is it possible to OC so high and yet so stable for certain batch of proc? Example, mine is OC to 3.22, if I get another similar proc, will the result be same, or there is a possibility to OC to 3.4?

Why is it there is error, despite I have check all the following: vcore, vdimm, ram timing + speed, HT bus, temperature? Is it luck?
