learning german is expensive in malaysia. unless u can find a group, or a company to support you (register for company course), you will have to fork at least rm500-700

u can try goethe institute or ask around in german embassy (they're friendly, don't worry)

I'm curious too about where to learn German in Klang Valley.
I heard it is not as hard as French.

It's not necessarily easier, as German technical words are bigger and complex. Simple words are easy because German is related to Dutch, Afrikaans, Malay/Indonesian, and English a little.

French is similar in that it uses genders (masculine, feminine, neutral).

Of course, it will be hard to be able to be conversant and fluent in German or French in s short length of time without sheer dedication.

if you find no time or the place is quite far from you,try buying or "downloading" this software.Rosetta stone with German language pack. I find it to be very helpful since the software has lessons even for pronunciation and so much more

I consider English as a simplified version of German in terms of grammar, no gender and everything is more general.
Try check out KBU College, not sure if they still have the german course there and also mainly JPA-Germany bound students are taking those course.
+1 for Rosetta Stone.
