I got 8006 3dmark2006 score.

my PC config is as below

AMD x2 4200+
Abit nvidia 570 SLI
Patriot value ram 2GB DDR2 800MHz
Maxtor SATA I 300GB HDD 16MB buffer
PNY 8800GT (G92) 512 MB
Creative x-fi Elite pro
I think my score is kind of too low compare to 10k+ that show by official. Do you guys think that overclocking the graphic card will help?
*
you should oc ur proc to 3ghz above to get 10k smile.gif

here the Mushkin 8800GT

user posted image

The new 8800GT card from Mushkin, branded Mushkin 8800GT XP Overcklocked Edition, is factory overclocked and works at 700MHz for the core, 975MHz for 512MB of GDDR3 memory and 1750MHz for the Shader clock. This is a nice boost from 600/900/1500MHz (GPU/Memory/Shaders) reference clocks.

So this card will be a OC 88GT .... 700/975/1750

It's similar to this one
http://www.silentpcreview.com/article769-page1.html

Check out the copper one. Mine is similar with that just that mine is red in colour and curve-shaped heat sink. Also, with 4 heatpipes.

Ya.. exactly like this one... i mean.. this is the one... they are HK if i'm not mistaken....

Do you notice there's a black cable near the exhaust? I wonder what the cable is for? it has 2 small heads (like the USB connectors that connect to mobo.
*
That two black head you mean is to connect ur mobo SPIDF IN port to support the HDMI

hopefully nothing bad will happen to my GC... cost me quite alot actually....  sweat.gif  cry.gif

So since it runs at 100%, can i OC it higher? what is the recommended clock speed? i'm kinda noob in OC-ing..
By default it is 600mhz/900mhz.
*
Well... OC for better performance and benchi, but i don't think you really need to OC for gaming to improve few fps, don't flame me O ... shakehead.gif

OC GC + CPU = improve quite alot..... especially u play games like crysis..... but some other game like CoD is enuf without OC.. at least for me.. i can max every single thg including AA and 1440 x 900 res... no la wont flame u la... we just discussing ma....... dont worry.. .hehe
*
lol... well i also play crysis on 1440X900, i can max out everything too ... but i still feel jerky lag feeling, although the fps is around 30++ but can't really satisfied me...

Zotact 700/2000/1750, 3.2ghz 2GB

well, some of my friends which using 19 inche playing on 1440x900 which using other 88GT oc up to 720~740/1950/18XX, 3.4ghz also with 30++ fps =_="
that's why i feel there's really no need for us to oc and take the risk which might burn our card 24/7 using it ... haha
