hello everyone...im in a deal to take inokom getz 1.4L manual...
just wanna ask about the interest rate...
bank offer 3.95%,full loan 52k,9 years.
is it ok?
if i change to 7 years,interest can go down ah?

All Getz have a digital ODOmeter that displays fuel consumption in litre/km
3.95% is considered quite high mate. Mine was 2.52%

Not sure whether the interest will go down if you take 7 years loan, but i think (my own 2 cents) that it will. Correct me if I'm wrong though..

i think after the fuel hike, the interest increase as well.

My 2 cents advice, install a Voltage Stabilizer, Drop in Filter, Iridium Spark Plug, all these would help to save fuel consumption one mate

3.95%? Thats like national car rates if you apply loan for Proton/Perodua. Its too high for a foreign make car, unless you're getting 2nd hand.

Second hand car interest some more high woh at present

Is it really good to have Zaptor VS? I'm thinking of getting one. Also planning to get K&N air drop-in filter eventhough my transmission is manual type, cuz just want to let the air box kept stock. About spark plugs, if you don't mind of using normal type, it's not an issue as long as you always stick to the maintenance interval and DIY the spark plugs replacement yourself. Somebody informed that not so much difference between high quality and normal one. Obvious reason though, the high quality type is catered for longer replacement interval time. Usually used for difficult-to-take-out the spark plugs from the engine such as boxer type. IIANM Subaru engine is boxer type.

BTW, I'm using Chemlube SAE 10w30 SM API grade. So far it serves me well, but wohh ur Bardahl kept yellowish after 5K mileage? That damn nice, I quite tempted to try this Bardahl, some more it's cheaper than Chemlube. Is this Bardahl which you are using right now PAE or ester based?

Bro, if you install the Zaptor VS, u ll feel the difference and it is worth the value i.e. only RM85, where to find bro and some more waterproof one leh. If your car is Auto, some more can feel and no need to use OD when climb up hill.

If you car is more than 2 years, you can opt for grounding 5 points + zaptor vs and all this only cost you RM150-160 include installation. Still cheaper than PIVOT.

I have changed to Project S stainless steel drop in filter, cost me RM85 only. Now can ramp my car till 5.5K RPM. No need KNN, damn expensive. For spark plug, I'm currently using NGK copper plug but with custom gap, cost me RM50.00. My buddy also use the same and commented better than IRIDIUM plug in the performance.

With all these budget setup, I can run down any MYVIs and match the speed of City & Vios on highway. For Bardahl F/S oil, you may google for more info. As far as I know, this brand brought in by C&C and were used to service their Mazda ZOOM ZOOM.

My next mod would be 4-2-1 extractor but have to make sure that the check engine light does not light up.

Getz 1.3 Auto's FC is like a horror show. It's so blardy bad that it's actually worse than the 2 other cars I drive, which r much bigger n heavier. 1's an MPV n the other is supercharged n both those cars actually have better FC than the 1.3 Auto Getz. I've kept it until now after 4+ years though I mainly drive the other 2 cars. Kept it around as it's good to have 3 different sized cars in the garage from small hatch to 4 door saloon to MPV. I chose the Getz coz it was the cheapest fully imported small car then. It's got superb build quality(still feels so solid after 4+ years) n I love that about the car but if ur worried about FC, I strongly suggest other cars as the 1.3 Getz is just horrific!




Haiya spray it urself very easy oni. Takes about 2 hours n ur done.

Totally agree!! I'm Hyundai Getz 1.3 (A) driver too. Really very horror.

Changing to Toyota/Honda next year. Speed and FC also far more better than Hyundai Getz.
