Bro Ho,
2 trips for March and April OR April and May

Was told that the weather changes quite fast now, thus the sea might still be very choppy when it's March

For Feb, i'm having a toman trip to Temengor/Banding and Air Ganda after CNY ler

Bro Puppy Chai,

What do you mean tackle release? New rods?

Our last jarak trip, Sis Sweet's Lady In Red was being damaged. It was due to the idiotic passing boat which cuts neatly on Sis Sweet's foregrip handle.

I have repaired the EVA and some new design is being borned.

Will show the pics tomorrow smile.gif

Bro Alex,
I dont have any brand name yet.. smile.gif

Bro Ice,
Caught plenty of juvenile toman, but the larger specimens are no where to be seen... sad.gif

Bro Puppy Chai,
IF you are keen for the T1, i know where to get it. Can help you to buy it when i'm back in Kedah..pretty cheap ler smile.gif

The design will be shown tomorrow..

Most important on the rod building is the balancing of the rod. Be it balanced with reel or without reel. Without a proper balancing even tho the rod is light, you will feel the fatigue when you jig with it. Not just that, the right handle length will gives you best comfort when you jig. Some like the reel to be far from body, some mid and some close to chest. It's up to individual preference. I always measure the length and preferred distance before building the rod. No point building a rod that the owner doesnt likes it smile.gif

As for 4 feet rods, it's best to apply speed jigging and long stroke. 4 feet rods also having a stiffer backbone too. Depending on material used and such lor

Bro Puppy Chai,

If it's meant to be long rod then no point chopping it to shorten it. Best is to get standard length or chop 1 or 1.5inch max nia...

Too much will make the rod brittle and backbone runs... smile.gif
