well im doing degree over there right now

and.... even a spm leaver can work in kitchen
so yea.... u still can be commis and work ur way up till u become a chef

really love working in hotel ? serving customers everyday?

to be frank. a cert in hotel is useless. 99% of the subjects u study in so called hotel management also useless.

don waste ur money to study hotel management~~ better save the money... straight work in hotel (whichever dept u like ) and start gaining experience.

btw which dept u would like to join in hotel ? my current hotel has few openings if u would like to try whistling.gif

those are like basic things where u don need to study hospitality in order to know ... financial accounting ??? like credit debit ? the course teach u economics.. marketing too right... but all oso basics... not in depth

its like saying you study KOREAN language... after the course doesnt make u expert in korean language... just the basic hi bye stuffs

i taught few new staff to use OPERA .. they don have backgrounds.. no cert nothing....fresh from high school... and they are doing good now... the opera they teach u in hospitality are again... basics... u learn more by working 1 month than studying 1 sem to "learn" opera
