Hey guys, it's me the noob again. My sis wanted to ask whether the engine is it quite loud and hot? coz first few days the engine is very quiet but hot (not overheat lar) but after a week of driving the engine turns loud according to her, whether is it normal or not?

driven for 500km, FC 8.0L, good or not? ^^

Honestly speaking, for sub rm50k-60k car. Persona NVH, noise, vibration and harshness control is very good, no complaint for that.

What do you mean by hot?? Touch the bonnet and feel the temperature heat?? shocking.gif The heat trap inside the engine bay..?

Yea , engine is quite loud if rev on high RPM ( More than 3k ) and very hot indeed ( The front bonet ) ..
I notice my H-Line IAFM ( Auto ) is quieter than my company staff M-Line Non-IAFM Manual persona ..I though his persona got change the eksos or what lol  tongue.gif

PS: Jesus , I got phobia on Honda City already. ..  I back from hometown again today... Going to overtake a honda city vtec again and rev high high , still not able to overtake it  blush.gif This is the 2nd time already for me .
I scare my engine explode le , haha.. Now go until 980km+ already , this coming saturday will send for 1st service  flex.gif  FC reading at 8.3L .

Don't said City VTEC, iDsi i also can't match at sprint test..the bigger brother, new CRV is pretty fast at 0-100kmh..don't suprise if you lose at traffic light sprint.

I will roll up to genting almost every month from Pg-KL-Genting. Even iDsi, i have hard time to catch up, kickdown 'L' lowest and '2nd' speed can't overtake iDsi... cry.gif yawn.gif unsure.gif
But at highway, not bad at high speed, doing 160kmh constantly, rpm 4400rpm...full tank managed to get FC 8.6L/100km, not that bad. smile.gif thumbup.gif

No myth or secret, City body is lighter, penalty for Persona to have heavier body.

i don't know about this but the behaviour of the alarm is kinda weird. the car will automatically locks after a few seconds the alarm is unarmed, but this will only happen IF there is no door opened. if a door is opened after the alarm is disarmed, then door is closed, the alarm will not automatically re-armed.
*
Yes, in fact. Lots of aftermarket alarm have this feature, door auto lock if left unattended for 30seconds.

The buzzer cannot tuned louder ler, there's no volume knob.

Simple, pull the buzzer out(if the wire is long enough) and place it nearer inside the cabin...
