I think only you are having these problems la.. im damn happy with my persona..
of coz its still a PROTON la and it will have normal proton issues..
but over all i dont encounter the problems u have..

my fuel meter is accurate..
the remote, yes the thing about the persona remote is u have to be pretty near the car like within 10 meters for it to work..
(i saw this once on top gear.. JC kk he walks like 50 yards away from his benz SL and the remote is out of range, but when he puts the remote against his head it works. he said he is dumbfounded and guessed maybe the whole body acts like a giant antenna)

i love the aircond.. too cold actually lol..

one issue is.. the door rubbers are attached with double sided tape and i can see signs of it coming out - this is really stupid of proton to use double sided tape to stick something damn important onto the car.. they shud have attached it to the doors using holes and clips not just simply stick it onto the car body.

i love the doors they close quietly and nicely..

ah one more thing is yes slight rattling sounds la from the dashboard (drivers side) when u rev about 4k..
and in the drivers door got sound when the bass kicks in.. lol..

fuel wise.. its ok la. not too bad..
power wise yes the campro is known for its torque curve dip in the low rev range..

besides that kereta aku cool sial baru cuci shining sungguh lol thumbup.gif

What is average fuel consummation? Seriously I do not believe the persona FC is that bad on urban driving. Come on man the persona is not a turbo charged vehicle.

melvinchen,

Actually i don't also understand why the right mirror got magnifying effect compared to the normal one the left...Very hard to change lanes because of this... rclxub.gif Took me quite some time to get used to it and now at least it's ok because i adjust it to as outside as possible... sweat.gif

About my fuel tank meter, i think it's pretty accurate, pump rm50 the needle shows about 3/4 on the fuel tank meter...Compressor noise is loud when it kicks in, normal for a Campro... laugh.gif

FC will be very high for town driving if your engine has yet to pass the 10k km mark...mine is at least rm0.20 cents for town driving only... sweat.gif

I have feedback this to Proton already but it seems that they are not going to do anything about it. Perhaps need more people like us to make complains then maybe they will do something about it.

Proton says nothing wrong with the right mirror (:

My idling is 755RPM (base on Proton's computer) but the RPM meter is showing 1000. I think got to use after market solutions such as after market RPM meter and a few more gauges.

Added on January 13, 2008, 11:50 pmI complained to proton more than 2 times but they are not solving the problem.
