im sure i read somewhere during his interview he said a large percentage of proton customer now is malay. unless those wira days whre almost everybody owns it.
probably some of the reason is because of product appealing, and it also because of rival like vios/city that duped some of the people thinking the've upgraded to camry/accord from wira. vios/city aso cheated people by their low interest strategy. yeap those asean car gave proton trouble. people bought it for their reputation and for some engine acronym they dont even know what. someone even have the audacity of telling me his car got GOA body. i mean what the ???. its just a name given by the manufacturer so what? i could also manufacture car and say the engine is SDPE (Super Duper Powerful Engine) with body that employs RGDS (Really God Damn Strong)

ok back to topic, so during this interview, the ceo said hes not happy with this market thats why he make the persona have more general appealing to have larger market. hence my question, have their achive this yet? how many percentage from non malay bought persona?

they are beginning to regain their lost market share....

yesterday jz test my car top speed in highway.. max go 170km/h ...3 passenger included me... i saw other forumer can go up to 190km/h and said still can go up.. izzit my car still new or ??
btw, mine 1 is BL auto ... with 800km mileage now..

btw i just foundout persona autobox model is F4A41, the same one used in newer waja, mitsubishi mirage 1.5 98-2002, actually the latest 4 gear auto transmission from mitsu before invecs, also used by elantra and sonata.
the one in gen2 is from mirage 1.8. both have fuzzy logic.
which is all good because more cars is using it, so sparts should be abundance. not too new and too advanced that maintenance and replacement parts is a killer, and not too obsolete. btw for those who didnt know, auto with OD is soo prehistoric. and does not have fuzzy logic.
and also dont brag about CVT gearbox to me.. coz my suzuki v100 scooter is also cvt.

still new and your car auto, how much more u expect?

btw, persona quite stable on high speed( izzit i use proper word? looks like talking on computer stuff )..

technically with yr car just 800km on the clock u shuddnt be pushing it to 170 km..

u persona can up to 170km/h? y my car will feel strong shock/variation at the leg pedal there when reach 110km/h? is it normal ah? mine one also auto gear

Yeah. U have to do it often. Rev the engine hard. If u scare, ask kcng do for u.

erm.. dunno leh.. i jz pijak it until end for few minutes.. heavy right leg:P

I've reached 120 - 160 km/j all the way from tampin negeri 9 to Johor Bahru PLUS highway so i can confirm it's quite stable at hi speed. BTW sorry for old repeated rants hehe
