Some notes about Firmware 2.10 that I notice:

Video icons - When group by album, the icons now plays the 15 seconds video again. Since update 2.01 this wasn't possible. thumbup.gif

Controller - after leaving about 1 hour (not sure how long actually), the controller actually turns of by itself. Before it stays on until we turn it or the system off. thumbup.gif

anyway.. that controller auto-off thing is a welcome! sometimes me forget to switch off when i leave it on folding or downloading stuff.. sleep.gif waste battery..

More unpublished features:

1. I have been playing lots of music on the ps3 and the planets visualizer is just great to look at? (Just press square button when playing music)

2. With today's PS3 firmware 2.10 update and PSP firmware 3.80 update, Sony has secretly updated the Remote Play functionality to allow playing of all PSone downloadable games AS WELL AS PS1 ORIGINAL DISCS! Source

I really need to look into the Remote Play function now.

I notice one thing last night after 2.10 update, during BD startup, if you press the L1+L2 button together it will go straight to the BD menu skipping all the intro....

mpyw, u know disny bluray, where they force u to see all the previews, i think after u seen once the next time u pop the disc in u can skip and press menu directly

ok, yesterday tested the divx compatibility, Hi def avi's ok wor (but porn)
SD ones(normal show - 1.8mpbs and 2.8 mpbs) i try kenot......
then tried wmv hidef (also porn) also can....

means wat? my ps3 can only play porn stuff ar?

1. for 60/80GB sets, now you can switch ps2 game disks and choose "game reset" to start the new game, no need return back to XMB. sadly, can not load a NTSC/J discs first and swap into a NTSC/UC later. the region lock still there tongue.gif

tat is an interesting feature...becos one thing i dont like about ps2 was the need to reset the ps2 if u wan to change a game or load a game.....now i can just use the reset.... icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

If they remove tat region lock thing on PS2 game then it would be great! Since i own a PS3 in Asian region i cant play those PS2 US original game! Dammit!
