want to say hello to the PS3 community, I finally made the purchase last Saturday from Bernard & Crystal and now am the proud owner of a 40GB PS3 and Motorstorm.
 I'll make a PSN account soon. I'd post my purchase experience, but I think I'll just quote instead QUOTE I'm typing this from my wireless keyboard connected to the ps3 that I bought from bernard and crystal on saturday evening. Thanks for honoring my reservation and the great service offered. Crystal explained a lot of critical info about the ps3 to me. It was a crazy day on saturday, had to run around town to grab the necessary electronic parts to get my ps3 up and running on my pc monitor and speakers. Too bad my monitor can only support 720p. Ah well at least I have a ps3 now rclxm9.gif The most amazing thing is that even my mom and dad, who never liked playing consoles actually enjoyed playing motorstorm! happy.gif The sixaxis motion sense really pulled them in. I tried for so long to get them to appreciate gaming and sixaxis did it! Now my dad wants me to teach him how to hook up the ps3 to the LCD tv downstairs to play when I am not around. lol! Just so sayang motorstorm got no 2 player offline mode. Can't go head to head splitscreen with my parents. |

I went through the whole setup process for my own rig with the ps3 to my samsung 206BW monitor. I can certainly say it wont be an easy road. First off the cable is available from AllIT Hypermart in low yat. That's where i got mine. The standard one costs RM 69, the branded one will cost RM 169. AmBank's NextG card works on Singapore's PSN. i use random Singapore address. hope this helps US PSN still no luck, even tried with my dad's, mom's, and sister's card  |

Mine is a 3 year old wireless logitech cordless Desktop Pro keyboard mouse + keyboard combo. Bought it for RM 150 from bulk order section. Mouse I use logitech MX1000 laser mouse. Both works out of the box with no tweaking or driver installation.
your 206BW can support 1080p resolution or not? mine can display but the monitor complains not optimal resolution. It looks fine at first but then got flickers and static flash. Can run at 720p only without problem.This post has been edited by slickz: Dec 10 2007, 12:51 AM |
