It just shows what kind of rubbish personnel sony and other big name companies are employing. How do they expect to sell things to people when they themselves do not know about their own products? What a joke.
I kena before once at sony style where i asked about their blueray player. I just pretended to be stupid and ask them what is blueray la and this and that. u know what they reply? "Oh it's a dvd player which shoots out a blue ray to read it." i'm like speechless for couple seconds.. talk about awkward.. |

raist86, actually the explaiantion on dvd and blu kaler ray is correct for ppl without the general knowledge of bluray to understand better
dvd associate with movie , then using blu laser, also correct |

actually yes in fact the reader does use a blue-violet laser to read from the disc's platter. The surface is essentially the same as a DVD, even has the same dimension but what makes it differ from the regular DVD is that due to the blue-violet laser's shorter wavelength, more grooves can be fitted onto the data platter which in turn yields more storage space. I tried to test the sales person at BTS's official sony store. The girl tending the counter didnt give me any bullshit though. She just politely explained that the PS3 has not yet been officially released in malaysia. No luck in hearing fairy tale lol  |

Can the PS3 support 250gig HD? I'm thinking of getting a 250gig drive so that I can store all my video and music inside.
I currently have a 250GB external HDD which stores all my media files but PS3 cannot have playlist for MP3s stored on external drive.....why sony why??? |

Yep PS3 does support any 2.5" SATA drive as long as the thickness is 9mm.
