i think the standard of sunway lecturer had dropped. Exceptions for Ms Menon though. The lecturers are not specialised in the subject they teach. and they are able to switch papers as they like. Thus are unable to give a more precise view of the subject. As for TARC, i am not sure as i dun have much informatino about them.

QUOTE(coolkid23 @ Apr 6 2008, 09:21 PM) i see.. my advise is better not rush your audit paper. one of the toughest paper to pass in ACCA. maybe you can try studying this paper for one year instead of 6 months.i want to finish my ACCA in next 1.5 years F6 onwards remaining. How many papers should i take in each semester? My Audit quite poor... i quite worry if take F6-F9 in december exam. |

QUOTE(coolkid23 @ Apr 7 2008, 04:35 PM) Ms Menon is teaching financial reporting instead of auditingQUOTE(ThanatosSwiftfire @ Apr 8 2008, 08:45 AM) 4 F papers, if you're hardworking it's quite easy to cope. I've done 2.1-2.4 before and F7,F8,P1,P3.. F4, F5 and F9 is very bulky as compared to F7. Taking this f4, f5, f6 and f9, for my, i think it's very heavy.but don't expect to have much free time because revision and constant studying is necessary, otherwise you'll screw 1 or 2 papers... like me. I feel F4, F5 F6 F9 is the best combination. 3 calculation papers and 1 theory... taking F8 and F7 leave them for later. |

QUOTE(peng123 @ Apr 8 2008, 04:54 PM) what about kolej bandar-low chin ann ? for me, when a lecturer do so many papers, he/she will definitely lose focus on the paper and might not be able to give100% to the students. the reason why i don wan go philip woo class are he teach a bit faster and not details. for me, he is SO SO only. QUOTE(waynelyp90 @ Apr 8 2008, 06:36 PM) Guys, just knew my Progress Test results and I failed my F4. I wrote for some questions 2 pages of answers but just got half of the mark allocated. I am not crapping but.... Anyway, what are the essentials to be included into the answers? law paper can pass by just memorising the past year paper.Definition of sections, name of case laws (does the story part need to be included or just the plaintiff and defendant names) and illustration (just illustration of Sect blah blah or need to include the story like A buy goods from B, B dies...) For those who have passed or scored Also, how you guys study the subject? Plain memorising? |

Good lecturers motivates you pass, very true, but a good environment gives you the push and drive to excel.""" I will agree with you on this point. the students in sunway is exceptionally good. e.g. 8A1s and above in SPM. Naturally, they tend to be able to understand will in studies which will eventually become prizewinners.u confirm sunway produced many ACCA prizewinners?? ACCA i mean.... n look at the backgrounds of those prizewinners from sunway....they had a very good academic record even b4 ACCA enrolment... i knew ur a world prizewinner too...n having a good time in sunway.... those threads are jz our comments....not meant to offend any1..... sum of us here....reli nid the help of good lecturers.... not paying bulk of $$ for not-up-std lecturers.... jz my 2 cents |
