i don't think big 4 punya standard so high lor, i think it's just good spoken english, good interview impression, and probably completed acca in 3-3 1/2 years and probably ey/kpmg/deloitte would accept already

pwc's abit more picky when it comes to staff, so i've heard.
*
this is quite true. but i think pwc is not that strict as what i heard from my friend. but the stress is very high.

well, yeah, i mean, if ur gonna be a property valuer, why u need acca for, to begin with? it's like.. non-related isn't it?
*
but don't you thinkt that if you have acca together with a property valuer licence, won't your value be higher than a normal acca graduate?

Yeah, thank you for the correction, it helps notworthy.gif  Why must take LAN subjects? Does it makes any difference from taking it?
*
actually it's not compulsory to take LAN. if you register as a part time student, you do not need to comply with the LAN requirements. and i think LAN is a waste of time only.

I'm his P3 student in Dec 08. Yes, he is very good in explain for business model and IT/IS topic. His notes very easy to read and understand. Normally he will prepare his own answer for all the past year question for student to read. The answer from him was very easy to understand and very suitable for you to answer exam question.
*
i would agree with you about this. he's very clear in his explaination and he would repeat the information again in order for students who forget to refresh their memory.

im studying P5 now~
this is not a very difficult paper~
P5 is require some of the knowledge in P3, so i think is because of that then u may face some problem in ur F5...
*
i took the F5 paper. There are no elements from p3. but it has a lot of theory in the paper. people focus on the calculations which are extremely tough instead of the easier theory marks. That's why the passing rate of the paper in the world is low.

thanks for the tips. but the tips from bpp for certain papers had not been accurate for a couple of sitting already. e.g. previously 2.5 and F7, and most of the professional papers. so might want to ask users of this information to be careful

I'm his ex-student for 2.6.

His explaination for this paper was very clear. You will find that very easy and good understand after attend the class. His technique for answer exam question also very good.

For the revision material, if I'm not mistake, he won't give too many study notes but will give a lot of question. The question normally from BPP revision kit, some question from old syllabus and also others professional courses.

In the class, he will give you a summary explaination for exam important area. He will discuss some question for that area.

just attended the first day...
the notes is the same as his class notes. (mostly)
no tips yet... sad.gif

I do not think that acca provide the defer facility like other courses. If yes also too late cause the docket had already been processed.
