exactly wat i was thinkin of doing. cos that single coil sux donkey's balls, feedbacks like hell at full volume. one nice quiet active EMG would do fine, can share the speaker power also which requires a 9V
Ruben's Pickup was good, because the rails can be configured to a single coil like I said...... The humbucking mode is just too powerful when used with the speaker..... and practically rips the damn thing apart.
That's why when he's using the speaker, he switches to single coil mode, and then humbucker when plugged into an amp.
Oh, and Ever, don't forget, the 89 is still a humbucker. You'll need a single coil humbucker like the DiMarzio Super Distortion. That J&D Brothers Minitar is still a single coil pickup guitar.

im sure theres enough space in the guitar for a humbucker rout
Sigh....... now GASing for the Epi Slash Signature
Now that the US dollar is getting lower and lower, I think it'll be stupid of me NOT to bring back a guitar. It's now a choice of a 7-String Schecter (I know alot will be happy if I do), the Epi Slash or maybe a Gibson SG Standard......
Will see how it goes.......
Don't worry...... I already have the E-Gen budget set aside already!

Not easy decision........ I honestly don't know what to buy back. Most likely just scout out there and see what's available. If they have that 7 String Kramer with Floyd..... No question about it...... I'm definitely bringing that back
OMG! Those are soooooooo cute! And I always wanted a Ukelele! Remember when bro Pix was here and showed off the Tahitian ukeleles? brutal. Wouldn't mind either ukeleles!
