combining two amp models in the gt8 then running it into the loop return of a tube amp really would make a difference. amp modeling is one thing but speakers response is another.

i dont think his distortion was very strong. well if you're just playing at bedroom level, we tend to put alot more distortion than necessary. but u try playing in a bigger place with bigger amps and bigger volume, i'll usually back down on the gain. just my experience from soundchecks.
