i dont mind miking it, but take note that its live and i'm switching from electric to acoustic, so if i want to mic it i'll have to fig out a way to mount my acoustic on a permanent stand so itll be stationary (thinks of zack kim's way)

hmm maybe i should just borrow my friends 810 taylor.

come on, its not that we dont want to help you. imo, you're goin abit overboard. good for you money is not an issue. go get something regular if you're scared of damaging your guitar. after all its peanuts for you. then you'll have 2 guitars, one awesomely great one to perform/showoff with when u need it, and another for you to work on and burn if u dont like it. looking at vids of you playing, you have to work on your playing. u've got a great guitar tutor (gapnap right?), so u're in pretty good shape.

be disciplined and patient, u'll get there. wait abit longer and i'm sure you will mature into a good guitarist very soon and know what u want. then, you can ask better questions and decide what guitar you want to upgrade to.

and with money, u can buy almost anything.

i think why we all hate it at first is because it forces us to focus alot on our picking, but once you get used to it you'll realise how little minimal movement you make to pick a string. also, we have to grip harder thus a nicer more solid tone. my 2 cents
