QUOTE(Azurues @ Jun 27 2009, 12:03 AM) Good movie.Probably 8/10. Which weapon from RA3?There are more fighting part in the movie and good humour especially the "scrotum". But the guns used are really copy of red alert 3 to those who played before should know. But the fight between Optimus Prime and The Fallen really potong stim. Not even 15 sec lol I dont remember anything similar in the movie with RA3. The rail gun was like C&C3's GDI's rail guns. |

- Love story between Mikaela & Sam, who's going to say the "L" word first.
- They are going to Egypt, via instant space bridge and Sam injured his hand during the travel, not from any fights running or fighting the robots but during travelling. - The most impression & personality of the movie comes from 2 fan favourites, Optimus & Bumblebee - Don't forger, the 2 helicopters from the Jordan Army.... "HERE COMES THE JORDANIANS!" ![]() |

hmm.. not all that great IMHO
GOOD - can differentiate between robots now (in TF1, you can hardly do that) - good storyline BAD -too many "kalefe" robots -none of them are introduced properly, unlike TF1 -and we dont know which autobot survive in the end (whatever happen to the twins?) - where is barricade? ARGUMENTS - did Optimus and Bee receive some sort of power up? - Optimus can handle 3 decep at once, though he is killed, he is not doing badly. Bee can face another decep on his own - can see that Bay tried to put some humor to the movie |

Managed to watch Transformers last night. I'd give i 6/10. It is more to a military action movie borrowing bits & pieces from Transformers. Somehow i feel the movie is portraying the Autobots as baddies (their obsession with killing every Decepticon).
On a side note, I do think that Judy is hotter than Mikaela. edit : ehh i almost forgot : SOUNDWAVE!!! This post has been edited by jubz: Jun 27 2009, 09:25 AM |

IMO -
1) The robot girl was a disappointment.. the transformation and mass shifting was weird and kinda too cartoonish 2) Why Agent Simmons escape unhurt with all the pyramid debris falling down whist he was down below the piramid? Somebody should die in this episode.. i would suggest Agent Simmons 3) There was lack of information of whereabouts of "Cybertron" whatever the planet you called it...coz it seems that Megatron got light speed capability when he return to his planet Basically it is a popcorn movie for all ages, but lack of suspense compare to the first movie... the movie was way too long, almost cant focus at the last fighting scenes... butt pain sitting at the chair for 2 hours...but its all worth it coz in the end we can see the combiner of Optimus Prime aka Sonic Convoy... hahaha... now the proud owner of the toy should be very happy... pasaran saham telah naik... ![]() This post has been edited by 20thCentury: Jun 27 2009, 11:16 AM |

Bad transformer review!
Now I know what everyone hates Micheal Bay! 1/10 Author: mgayles2005 from United States "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen" is a movie that begs you to walk out of the theatre. The Decepticons have returned to wage war on humanity, and Micheal Bay has returned to wage war on your eyes, ears and brain. You exit the theatre with the feeling that you survived an epic battle, and your brain was sadly left behind to die. The plot? The Decepticons want to activate a machine that will block out the sun. This machine just happens to be inside of a pyramid that the Transformers built, not the Egyptians, to conceal it. To do this they need to capture Sam Witwicky, who's played by Sia Labeuf, who harnesses an assortment of powerful alien knowledge into his brain. Maybe he should have penned the script. Megatron and his buddies come after him which results in numerous unspectacular battles. The Autobots and Decepticons fight all over the place, but good luck telling them apart. The camera moves so fast you can barely see who's chasing, or shooting what. In one scene a silver car transforms and destroys another silver car. The climax involves these warring robots, as well as entire armies fighting in the desert. This scene is mostly a series of explosions, with no sense of who's shooting at who and what's shooting what. Bay has the wit and maturity of a twelve year old boy looking at a playboy for the first time. He's fascinated with dogs humping, so much so that he cuts to it in the middle of action sequence. He fills an entire college campus with babes that belong in Maxim magazine. He thinks its funny for a giant alien robot to have giant robot testicles. This essentially becomes "The Love Guru" with giant robots. And somehow in this supposedly politically correct age, where we have an African American president, Bay goes out of his way to show us two stereotypical illiterate jive talking' robots with gold teeth, and ghetto slang that would make Jar Jar Binks cringe. I loved the original show, Beast Wars, the animated film, and the first live action movie. None of the said films will be considered masterpieces but they're Shakespeare compared to the latest film. Even a movie about giant robots needs some kind of logic. But even as I write this the film its already a smash hit after only a day in the theaters. That's because all people want to see is robots fighting, even if you can't see the robots doing it, and you don't know who the robots are. If you want to save yourself ten dollars and your sanity, get the toys and imagine them going on adventures, what you come up with will be better than this. |

I watched the movie... overall i felt it was good action movie but am disappointed on the robot's character development.... all of them... you dun really get a sense of knowing / re-knowing them... i saw ratchet fighting there but nothing much from him.... saw ironhide running, shooting and all, Jolt was there but just to provide whatelse a jolt of electricity to Optimus Prime but tat was it.... the twins hardly do anything, other than fight and argue and help find the tomb.. You do know Jetfire in the tranformers universe is not like the aging senile plane, he was much heroic and definitely one of my fav Decepticons turned Autobots... Maybe they should have taken out redundant characters like Leo and less time to the Sam's parent.. dun really see the need for them..
i don't feel the essense of the transformer robots..... i know it is hard to do in 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, so still kudos to michael bay for an action-packed movie...... It is good, but still left desiring robot's character development.. anyone feel the same way?? This post has been edited by im_bunny: Jun 27 2009, 12:10 PM |

For those who watch it 2nd, 3rd or 5th time....is the goofs, etc true?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1055369/goofs Goofs for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) More at IMDbPro ยป advertisement * Revealing mistakes: A group of F-16 fighters flying in formation are seen banking off to begin engaging the Decepticons. Inexplicably they each launch flares - a kind if decoy for heat-seeking missiles - as they break formation. This is likely because it's library footage of F-16s on maneuvers. * Crew or equipment visible: Low angle camera rigging shadow cast on Bumblebee on the far right of the frame when he driving along at sunset in processions with the other Autobots. * Revealing mistakes: Near the start of the film the Union Jack can be seen flying upside down, which is actually a distress signal. * Continuity: When Sam Witwicky drops his papers on the college steps three people on the right hand side are walking behind him. As the shot changes the three people are further back just getting to the steps. * Errors in geography: When Jetfire is reactivated at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia, he blasts open a hangar door and steps outside, the exterior shot showing him and the other protagonists being in the "boneyard" at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona, at the opposite end of the country. * Continuity: In the deli Sam takes his hat off twice. * Crew or equipment visible: When Bumblebee nudges Sam while in vehicle mode, you can see there is a driver inside of the car. * Errors in geography: The entire scene involving Egypt, Jordan and the Bay of Akkaba is a geographic mess. Petra is almost 1000km from the pyramids which lie just outside Cairo. Also, Cairo is nowhere near a sea-shore but is a few hundreds of kilometers inland from the Mediterranean. * Continuity: During the frat party scene where Sam gets a green drink, the drink is full in one shot, nearly empty in the next, and full again in the third. * Continuity: After Devastator has ripped off the top of the pyramid, Jetfire (John Turturro)is seen giving coordinates to a US Navy aircraft carrier. Jetfire is meant to be on the same pyramid, but you can clearly see in the background the same pyramid without any damage. * Continuity: After the college girl turns into a robot and Sam and Mikaela run out, you can see that Mikaela has taken her heels off running down the stairs. However, in the next scene, they are back on her feet. * Continuity: When they go to meet Agent Simmons in New York City, there is a shot of the Brooklyn Bridge with the American flag on the eastern tower of the bridge. Although, earlier in the film (and in the trailer) a Decepticon is seen knocking the flag pole off of that same tower. * Continuity: Sam was lying on ground after explosion and has swollen jaw and burn on left cheek. When he stands up to hug Mikaela he has no burns on cheek and jaw is normal. * Continuity: In one scene with Mikaela, Leo and Sam at former agent Simmons's store (John Turturro's character), Sam takes off the cap twice in front of him. * Plot holes: In Egypt, both Long Haul (green dump truck) and High Tower (yellow crane) are fighting NEST individually, while they are also miles away acting as the right foot and left arm of Devastator respectively. Long Haul is shown in robot mode several time, while High Tower is even killed by Bumblebee. * Errors in geography: In a couple scenes in the movie, it mentions the USAF characters are at a military base in New Jersey. But each time the scene switches to this "New Jersey", you can see a desert-like environment and mountains in the distance; both of which New Jersey does not contain. * Revealing mistakes: The film begins at 22:14 hours in Shanghai, while it is still light outside. Shanghai, China at 22:14 should be dark. * Continuity: When Sam hurts his hand after 'arriving' in the desert he magically produces a bandage. * Factual errors: In the scene where the Decepticons attack Paris, red and blue sirens are seen through the streets. Sirens on Parisian police cars are just blue. * Revealing mistakes: Very loud Decepticon meteorites are crashing down and exploding by the pyramids in the distance, but the guy with the camels in the foreground show no reaction. * Factual errors: After Starscream deploys the EMP and the soldiers lose communication, MQ-1 Predators are ordered to be launched. The airframe shown taking off is the MQ-9 Reaper, not a Predator. * Continuity: A Decepticon knocks the American flag off the top of a bridge. Moments later, the flag is back on top of the same bridge again. * Continuity: In the process of reconstructing and reviving Megatron, one of the drop team gets cannibalized by the others, meaning there should only be five Decepticons left - Megatron and the remaining four. When they head for the surface, the sonar tech calls out six objects moving and six objects are seen on the screen, not five. * Continuity: During the scene when SoundWave orders the Decipticons to mobilize, there is a shot in which two robots, whom appear to be BoneCrusher and the tank version of Devastator from the first movie, are shown. However, both of these characters were supposedly killed in the first movie. BoneCrusher had his head cut in half by Optimus Prime, and Devastator succumbed to massive amounts of fire from both the military and AutoBots in the city battle. * Continuity: The Aircraft Carrier that launched the naval air strikes near the end of the movie had the same hull number as the Aircraft Carrier that was sunk earlier. * Continuity: During the scenes in the desert, Mikaela's white jeans stay perfectly white, when by the end they should be covered in sand. * Factual errors: The Predator UAV is a prop driven aircraft, not a turbine (jet) driven as depicted in both this and the Transformers (2007) movie. * Factual errors: When "scrambling the Predators", the UAV pilot is heard calling out "V-One, rotate." V-One is is the speed where you no longer have enough runway left to safely stop an aborted takeoff. The proper call would have been "V-R, rotate." * Factual errors: In an overhead scene of the Pentagon, the location is cited incorrectly as "The Pentagon - Washington D.C." The Pentagon is located in Arlington, VA. >>> WARNING: Here Be Spoilers <<< Goofs below here contain information that may give away important plot points. You may not want to read any further if you've not already seen this title. * Factual errors: SPOILER: When the Deceptrons were recovering the remains of Megatron, General Morshower states that there were objects approaching the depth of 9000 fathoms to Megatron's location in the North Atlantic ocean. 9000 fathoms is a little over 10 miles in depth and there is no location in the North Atlantic ocean with that depth. * Continuity: SPOILER: The artifact called "The Matrix" changes size dramatically from when Sam holds in it his hands to when the Fallen inserts into the pyramid machine. |

Those mistake purely bcoz of Bay... he likes to direct in fast pace but these cost a lot of mistake in the end... for example in TF1 where the scene S7 in the midst of capturing Bumblebee and the squad personnel was cuffing Sam hand.. then the next cut you can see Sam without the hand cuff...its so damn obvious
